He has served as president of the Duval County Medical Society, the Florida Academy of Family Physicians and the Florida Medical Association, and currently is a trustee on the Board of the Brooks Health system and is Chairman of the Board of Memorial Hospital.
He is married to his wife of fifty years, Joan, and they have three children and eight grandchildren. His hobbies include collecting fossils, raising camellias and playing the piano.

Doctor did not seem to care, or maybe didn't know about the subject matter. Why should I see a specialist and pay tons of money when my normal primary would just send me for labs? This doctor didn't look up my case - just passed the buck. Guess he didn't realize that I'm a nurse and know what he should be doing for me. Won't go back to him again as an alternative to my doctor when she is booked up ever again.
