Dr. Tuttle is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon who is also fellowship trained in hand and microvascular surgery. Prior to joining the Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic in 2005, he graduated from both college and medical school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then completed his internship and residency at the University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington, Vermont. He was then selected for a hand and microvascular surgery fellowship in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Dr. Tuttle has written articles on hand surgery topics published in peer reviewed medical journals, including the Journal of Hand Surgery as well as Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research. He has served as the hand surgery consultant to the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes since 2006. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, fishing, and spending time with his wife and three children.

Dr. Tuttle is a great doctor. He specializes in the elbow down to the hand. Since his practice is so keenly focused, it stands to reason that that he understood my problem and is able to help. I wouldn't trust anyone else. In my opinion, Dr. Tuttle is the absolute best!

Very thorough. He took Xrays and we looked at them together as he explained what was going on. Despite my thoughts before I came to appointment the cause of my pain was not due to a recent fall I had about a month ago. We discussed treatment which I agreed to proceed with.

Dr. Tuttle has a wonderful bedside manner and gives his full attention to your issue. He does not make you feel rushed at all and is very personable. He performed my elbow surgery 4 years ago and is now treating me for a different issue. Highly recommend Dr. Tuttle!
