Dr. Harvey Schecter is board certified in Family Medicine and has been practicing in Lilburn for over 30 years. Dr. Schecter was an early adopter of acupuncture and other alternative medical treatments. He helped formulate the state regulations on acupuncture for the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners in 1974. He serves as a preceptor for medical students from Emory University and GA Campus of the Philidelphia Collge of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Schecter has one daughter. He enjoys Scuba Diving, photography and cooking. Dr. Schecter is known for his medical acumen as well as his sense of humor and ability to put patients at ease. He places a strong emphasis on preventative medicine.
