Growing up on a farm, I learned to love solving problems and helping others. Being in medicine presents a lot of different challenges that need to be solved and I get to help people at the same time. I love going to work every day. I find joy in helping patients make their own decisions about what is best for them and their families. Using an evidence-based approach combined with lots of patience and listening, we work together to set expectations and make a plan. One of the best parts of being an OB/Gyn physician is being able to see patients throughout their lifetime. I can help if they need surgery or a medical treatment, and of course, delivering babies. Seeing families grow is one of the most exciting things I do. It's one of the most meaningful moments a person can experience, which makes it a truly special time to be in someone's life.

I saw Dr. Pearson today for the first time and It was such a great experience. I have avoided getting my regular check up for various reasons-one of them being fear. I was so nervous beforehand, but I had no reason to be. Dr.Pearson was friendly, understanding, and patient. I didn’t have any discomfort with my pap smear. I am so happy I chose to go to Dr.Pearson. Most efficient doctor visit experience ever! Dr. Hattie Pearson saw me really quickly after I arrived and she was really good at listening to my issues and providing evidence based potential reasonings to my concerns I had. She explained everything in an easy to digest manner and would make an effort to try to get to know me as a patient. At the end of the visit, she reviewed what she would like me to complete before our follow-up visit. The doctor's notes about the visit was published on the portal a couple hours after the visit. Overall, I highly recommend her.

The doctor is very nice and friendly. The doctor also has a student doctor to shadow her and they were very nice. Pap smear is uncomfortable but doesn’t hurt. I didn’t really eat before my exam so I felt dizzy and nauseous after the exam. The staff was very nice and caring. They have me some crackers and apple juice to help me feel better.

I have avoided going to an obgyn for my annual exam for several years because I usually find the experience to be uncomfortable. That was not the case with Dr. Pearson. This was my first time seeing her and it was a pleasant experience from start to finish. The office was very professional and the staff was friendly. They made sure to confirm my insurance coverage in advance so that there were no issues and I received several appointment reminders along with directions to the office. Dr. Pearson was simply wonderful. She spent a good amount of time with me, went over my medical history, and made sure all my routine tests were up to date. I felt completely comfortable with her as she has a very caring demeanor which made me feel valued as a patient. The exam was thorough and I did not experience any discomfort. Dr. Pearson made sure I got all my questions answered . I highly recommend Dr. Pearson and I will definitely be coming back to see her for all my routine obgyn appointments.

Dr. Pearson is personable and knowledgable. She took the time to review my notes in advance and knew what questions she wanted to ask before seeing me. I did not appreciate having to fill out 25 minutes worth of forms beforehand and then having to do it all over again on their app. Their family history format of filling out papers by hand upon arrival is archaic, especially since we've been in a pandemic for 2 years now - everything should be contactless, able to be done, and input online, in advance, by the patient. This also reduces chance of human error and inefficiency when someone else has to type it into the system. Office staff is friendly, but should push for more efficiency.
