More about Dr. Hayley Rintel Queller, MD
Hayley Queller, MD was the first Primary Care Sports Medicine physician at Orthopedic Associates of Long Island. In 2000, she completed an undergraduate degree in mathematics at Franklin & Marshall College where she was valedictorian of her class as well as a first team Academic All-American soccer player. She earned her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 2004 after which she completed a dual residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the Christiana Care Health System in Delaware. She continued her training at Christiana Care by completing a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics with a certificate of added qualifications in Sports Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.
Dr. Queller specializes in the non-operative management of orthopedic issues in all ages. She has a keen interest in injury prevention and rehabilitation from non-operative conditions. She also has a particular interest in fracture care and concussion management.
Dr. Queller serves as the Medical Co-Director of St. Charles Hospital’s ThinkSMART!™ Concussion Management Program and helps ensure the most-up-to-date management of concussion in more than 42 school districts in Suffolk County. She has served as the team physician for the Comsewogue school district since 2009 and was medical consultant for the USTA, covering the US Open Tennis Tournament from 2011-2022. Dr. Queller is a nationally recognized CrossFit athlete, holding her Level 1 CrossFit instructor certification.
