I had an excellent visit. The staff (Jillian, Marc and another woman, who's name I did not catch) were lovely and so was Dr. Barold. They have a very nice, relaxing but professional and caring environment. I felt very good overall about the whole experience -thank you.

Dr. Barold has worked in both private practice and academic settings. She is well published in her areas of expertise which include general cardiology and arrhythmias. She attended college at Brown University, followed by medical school at the University of Rochester. She completed her medicine residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 1994 then spent four years at Duke University for her Cardiology and Electrophysiology fellowship. She also has a Masters of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. She is board certified in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology.
Dr. Barold provides cardiology and electrophysiology service at Sibley Memorial Hospital and Suburban Hospital. The office services include Stress Tests, Echocardiography, Holter and event monitoring as well as high level Electophysiologic device follow-up. Dr. Barold takes the majority of insurance plans.
The office is equipped with state of the art medical equipment and electronic medical records so that you will always have your records accessible. This paperless system is eco-friendly and also more efficient for the patient.

I like dealing with Dr. Barold. She takes time, listens to me, and gives me time to question her. The staff is cordial and competent - and I like her appointment structure - I get in to see Dr B promptly.
The office location is convenient for me and parking isn't bad - and a plus for me is that Dr. B is considerably younger than I am, so will be around for me for a long time!
