Dr. Helen Simigiannis received her undergraduate degree in the Biological Sciences at Rutgers University in 1993. In 1999, she received her M.D. from Ross University School of Medicine. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology and two years of Family Medicine at Creighton University Medical Center. She then went on to private practice in Monmouth County where she proudly delivered over a thousand babies, and took care of women in all stages of life, with a special interest in adolescence. During her career, Dr. Simigiannis had the opportunity to care for and learn from patients in underdeveloped countries in the Caribbean, as well as the inner cities of New York and the outskirts of Washington, DC. She started Antheia Gynecology, where the primary focus is individualized and attentive gynecologic ambulatory and minimally invasive surgical care.
Dr. Simigiannis is a Fellow of the American College and Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is also a member of the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, the North American Menopause Society, the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, and the International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health. She is a member of the medical staff at University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro and Centrastate Medical Center in Freehold. She also contributes her free time to the Embrace Kids Foundation in New Brunswick.
