Was able to diagnose and drain my tonsil on the spot. However, he prescribed me oral antibiotics after such a procedure (which i had to force down), on top of writing my prescription wrong so CVS wouldn't fill my pain meds (because it was a controlled substance). At my follow up appointment, we scheduled an operation date to remove these pesky tonsils, of which the office canceled a week or so later without rescheduling (vacation for 6 weeks). Now my tonsils are flaring up again and I have to find another ENT.

I've been to multiple doctors prior to this visit for recurring sinus and chest infections, they never got to the root cause. This guy is interested in getting the cause of the problems discovered and treated, and doesn't jump straight to some sort of surgery or more sprays/pills. I find his dry wit to my liking. Have your story straight before you arrive, he won't be looking up information online; generally avoids technology which is pleasant in that he spent quality time talking things over with me and telling me what was wrong with previous directions, and where we were going next. I am headed back after I get a CT scan on the sinuses, after which we will know how bad one problem is in context of the other (allergies).
His midas touch with his vacuuming out my sinuses was night and day over previous doctors; it always hurt elsewhere, not nearly as bad here.
For the first time in months, I feel like I have someone who has the big picture and is going to get me where I belong.

Dr. Bikhazi was very personable, thorough, caring, and had a sense of humor. I had been sick with an upper respiratory infection for 4 months. My ears and sinuses were plugged. I had go my regular doctor who prescribed antibiotics and cough syrup. It didn't help. I heard about zocdoc and searched in my area. When I clicked on and read the reviews about Dr.Bikhazi I felt like I found sone one who could help me. He gave medo that cleare everything up and found some things my regular doctor had missed. He is the best.

Dr. Bikhazi listened and addressed all our concerns. He has a wonderful bed side manner. His office didn't double book and we were out within 45 minutes with a procedure performed! Will definitely be our family's Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist.

Good doctor. The only issue I had was that he wanted my three year old to schedule a allergy skin test and his nurses tried to talk us out of it. I don't understand why she wouldn't talk to the doctor about it rather than try to talk us out of it. The allergy skin test is suppose to consist of 32 scrapings on her back so I understand that would be difficult and painful for a three year old. After going back and forth with the nurses, we asked if maybe they could do a few at a time. She said they could but seemed really frusturated about it. Of course we don't want to put out child through pain but if it is causing allergies that are causing hearing loss and the doctor recommended it, than we have to figure out a way to do this.

He's been an ENT since 1971, which is great as far as experience is concerned. The problem is he doesn't listen to his patient. He doesn't believe in medicating: however, he want to give you a bunch of prescriptions to pick up.

Before seeing doctor Bikhazi i previously saw 5 different general practitioners and none of them knew how to diagnose me. They gave me generic antibiotics for a cold and flu and said my lymph node was inflamed from an infection. After 4 weeks of being fed up from these general practitioners and not getting any answers or relief i found doctor Bikhazi here on zocdoc and made an appointment as soon as possible. He has the soonest available appointment date and was one of the closest to my house. The lump on the left side of my neck kept getting bigger and bigger and by the time i walked into Bikhazi's office i started crying because i was so frustrated that no one knew what was wrong with me and i was in excruciating pain. Bikhazi treated me like his own daughter. He prescribed me antibiotics and steroids and told me i would be better in 24 hours. 12 hours later the pain in my neck was gone and i was so relieved and happy. After many more appointments later and a biospy of the mass we decided to do surgery to remove it. It was diagnosed as a left bronchial cyst and i was born with it and it so happened to get inflamed and infected right when i started my first year of college. Overall, Bikhazi is awesome he has so much experience under his belt and he treats all of his patients with amazing care. I definitely recommend seeing Bikhazi he is the best specialist i have ever been to.

I went to Dr Bikhazi because Zocdoc said he was the closet Ear Nose Throat (ENT) Specialist who accepts my insurance. Well I was uninformed about the referral process which made for a unnecessarily frustrating experience when discussing with the front desk staff. I was repeatedly referred to as "you are a HMO" which apparently meant I had not rights and must be treated differently with less respect compared to somebody who has PPO insurance. I didn't appreciate the attitude and demeanor of discussion and had to point out that I am not an "HMO" but a human being! Dr Bikhazi himself was very nice and obviously informed with lots of experience. I have had hearing problems for the last year with ringing in my ears. He asked me lots of questions and after a few different tests using a tuning fork, he discovered something interesting. This lead him to believe that I may need inner ear surgery. I was very surprised that surgery was his diagnosis. He referred me for a hearing test to confirm his suspicions. I have the hearing test in a few days. I will see how all this pans out before I say for sure that I will recommend him but if he's right, he's right. Let's see how it at ll turns out. As long as my ears are fixed, that's what really matters to me.

Very knowledgeable doctor. Just be looking into me, he knew right away why I had my symptoms and why my lifestyle struggled in certain ways. I discovered I had a deviated septum and needed to get my tonsils removed.
Only con about Bikhazi, is the fact that he interrupted me quite a few times when I tried to explain things to him. Felt like he wasn;t listening to me. Just make sure you repeat what you want to tell him until he fully listens and responds.

He did not even look inside my ear. By looking at me he knew what was wrong with me. May be he is that good. Asked me a couple of questions and send me to someone else for hearing test. Of course after the hearing test he would suggest an MRI, and the final answer would be sorry it is stress related.
