I found the medical office atmosphere very relaxing & friendly. In spite of being late (as I got lost going to this medical facility for the first time), the staff and doctor were very accommodating. I was seen as soon as I got in and treated very kindly. Everyone there wanted to make sure I could get back home safely.

As fellows of the American College of Cardiology, American Gastroenterological Association, American Association of Pulmonary Medicine and American College of Physicians, we are required to pass rigorous exams and must continually update our skills through ongoing education programs.
Joined the practice in 1996. Internal Medicine residency at Montefiore Medical Center 1990-1993. Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at Long Island Jewish in 1993-1996. Board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. Special interest in Congestive Heart Failure, Cardiomyopathy and Nuclear Cardiology.

My first appointment went very well! My friend has been seeing Dr. Gomez for years and highly recommended him. I was very happy with my first visit to his office. I've been looking for a Primary Care Dr. who is very thorough and listens. He seems to have a very good bedside manner which is always important.
The staff seems to be very team oriented and work together very nicely.

Thank you to Eric, Physician Assistant, the medical assistants, US / Echo Tech, The Tech who performs the Stress Tests, the great staff at the Check Out Window, Billing Staff, the front desk staff (Front Line team who have to deal with all patients and never get recognized. Please know, you are appreciated.) Let's not forget Dr. Gomez's Secretary / Admin Asst. She is great. Always pleasant and has constantly gone above and beyond for me and my family. THANK YOU ALL.

Dr. Gomez is an outstanding professional. He has provided expert care for Bill Spencer that has had a significant impact on his quality of life. He is empathetic and extremely knowledgeable. I had an appointment and he added Bill into my slot so we both could be seen. I am not a fan of doctors but Dr. Gomez has made a difference in my attitude. He is one of a kind. I do not like invasive procedures but I know that he will look for appropriate alternate procedures that are effective before suggesting an invasive procedure. Everyone at the office was great, however I waited over an hour in the waiting room before I was called in. Then I saw a Medical Assistant and a PA before I saw the doctor. I was there for 3 1/2 hours.

He’s great as always. Doesn’t make you feel rushed, answers all your questions and really takes interest in your well being. But the biggest concern is the wait time. Even with an appointment you end up waiting two hours past your time before he sees you.
