Dr. Paul then completed his residency in internal medicine at Jersey Shore University Medical Center and his fellowship in nephrology at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center.
Dr. Paul is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Society of Nephrology. I am a patient of Dr Henry Paul for more than 15 years; I only visit another doctor if he is outside of USA and it is a life or death call. I have good insurance and I will be more careful where and who I see as a doctor. I feel primarily low-income doctors give very little attention to their patients and I feel I wasted a co-pay. I had concerns on my body, which he said were normal and "in my head," however these are on-going physical ailments for three years. Waste of an appointment.

Dr. Paul is a very gifted nephrologist. His bedside manner was very commpassionate and comforting. He was very helpful in helping me find information to educate myself concerning the treatment of my condition as well as personally reaching out to other specialty doctors to ensure that I received a well rounded diagnosis. Different things are important to different patients, but competency coupled with compassion is ideal in my experience. Additionally, his staff was also helpful and caring. I would definitely recommend him to other patients.
