Hilary received her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics from Utah State University and completed her training to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) at Simmons University of Boston Massachusetts. She has since obtained over 15 years of experience in many different settings including working at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital with pediatric inpatient and outpatient clients as well as with adult populations and cardiovascular health. Hilary has over 10 years of experience as an outpatient pediatric dietitian counseling children and families from birth to young adult through one-on-one counseling or group sessions.
She has experience counseling children with picky eating, unintentional weight loss or difficulty gaining and maintaining weight, childhood weight management, disordered eating as well as GI disorders, food allergies and medical conditions such as high cholesterol and more.
With a background in sports medicine and love for sports she also has experience with sports nutrition and working with children and adolescent athletes to improve their athletic performance through nutrition. She incorporates the Division of Responsibility and Eating Competency when counseling children and families working to make steps to improve their feeding relationship. She takes time to get to know each client and family personally to meet them where they are on their journey and help them reach their individual goals.
When Hilary is not working, she enjoys spending time trying new recipes and cooking for her family, getting outdoors, and coaching or attending her four children’s sporting events.
