Dr. Lerner is a Yale trained ophthalmologist with sub-specialty training in cataract surgery and Laser Vision Correction. He currently does the most advanced non-invasive cataract surgery performed in the world. His reputation as a surgeon has made him the choice of many physicians, nurses and their families for their own cataract and laser vision correction procedures.
At Lerner Eye Center, patients are provided not only with the best eye care available, but are also treated as family. We are a complete refractive practice providing the full spectrum of procedures to allow you to see clearly without glasses or contact lenses. Some of these procedures include the removal of cataracts, implanting intraocular lenses, laser vision correction, PRK, conductive keratoplasty (CK), or LATISSE.
Dr. Lerner has lived and practiced in the Bay Area for the past twenty seven years. He resides in the East Bay with his wife and four children. His hobbies include skiing, hiking, opera, photography, and gourmet cooking.
