Born in Salt Lake City, Utah and raised overseas, Dr. Hillary Boswell eventually returned to Tucson, Arizona to complete her high school education. She went on to complete her Bachelor of Science at Columbia University in New York City. She then went on to graduate from Ohio State University, College of Medicine and Public Health, proudly earning her Medical Degree in 2001. Her Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology was completed in 2005 from Ohio State University. Dr. Boswell furthered her expertise and went on to complete a Fellowship in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine in 2007.
During her medical training years, she received First Place for the Resident Research Award at Ohio State University, Department of OB/GYN. She has been a regular lecturer at MD Anderson and Texas Children’s Hospital, and has written several publications that have appeared in prestigious journals such as Obstetrics and Gynecology and Pediatric Emergency Care. Dr. Boswell has dedicated her time as a mentor for pregnant teens for many years.
Previous to her medical education, she resided for a short period in Tokyo, Japan and worked as a language consultant. Dr. Boswell is proud of her family and enjoys spending time with her husband, a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology physician, and her young daughter.
