Although it was a bit rushed, my concerns were addressed and procedure explained in detail.
My appointment was due to intermittent ear pain/nagging high pitched sound coming from one ear due to inadvertently using q-tip in my ear. She diagnosed that I had impacted wax in that ear and attempted to get it out at that time but said I needed an additional appointment because I needed to soften it. She suggested olive oil to soften and then 2 days later I went to the second appointment. I had to wait a very long time in the waiting room, but it took 5 seconds for the doctor to remove the impacted wax. I was charged twice for the removal - one for the first attempt and again for the second attempt, in addition to both office visits (the removal of the impact was charged separate from the office visit, although she didn't do anything besides that). The nagging high pitch sound was never addressed - it was as it she assumed removing the wax would fix it. I will have to go to another doctor to have that checked on.
The appointment I had get rushed as a doctor that's something you should never do as a doctor I rather wait to see the doctor then try to be seen in a busy day. If you have too many patients or are running behind be courteous to inform the patients or simply as if they can reschedule. As a new patient with this experience I would not be coming back.
The doctor was very nice, and very professional. However, the office is over-crowded because there are several doctors using the same admin area and staff. The experience coming in was rather chaotic, with people that had made appointments but were not booked (as in my case), paperwork missing, patients waiting for lengthy periods, etc. My appointment was at 9am and I left at 10:40; way too long to wait. I filled in all necessary paperwork online, but the receptionist could not find record of my appointment, or my paperwork. Calling Zocdoc solved the problem.
