Dr. Hollie Huynh (pronounced "win") began her professional education graduating from University of California, Irvine in 2000 earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences. She advanced to a private school and graduated in 2004 from New England College of Optometry (NECO) in Boston, Massachusetts. At NECO she balanced her academic and social life by being a Student Advisor, being very active as a member of the student council board, and winning grants for “Excellence in Clinical Presbyopia Management”.
She served the public during internships at Fresno Veterans Hospital and Joslin Diabetes Center, and also completed a rotation learning how to treat specialized populations inlcuding geriatrics, pediatrics, Multiple Schlerosis, Down's Syndrome, traumatic brain injury and others. Her extensive knowledge of Diabetes management stems from her experience working along side renowned ophthalomogists at Joslin Diabetic center.

Was the worst. Overcharged & horrible eye exam. The light in the office kept blinking on & off during the exam. No prices on the glasses & very high priced. Never received my glasses and won't ever go back.

I just felt like this office was focused too much on sales instead of taking care of their patience and their needs. I felt pushed to try a bunch of different contacts and each one was more expensive than the next. In addition when Dr. Huynh went to put in my contacts she did not wash her hands. I won't be going back here.

Very pleasant but because my work hours and proximity to her location, I can only see her on Saturdays--usually an hour before they close. I was in and out, though, even on my first visit. They're so efficient and very kind. Stephanie, Anne, Oscar, and Dr. Huynh were very professional. Oscar cut my new lenses for my glasses within 20 minutes--staying behind about 15 minutes after closing just for me. I felt so bad! They're awesome here. I just wish I had more time there and Vision Care!

"Dr. Hollie" was so involved in an outrageous flirtation with a salesman that I would not have dreamed she was the actual doctor if I had not seen her posted picture. She was trying on frames and giggling and asking him to try them on and saying how good they looked on him and giggling some more to the point that I almost walked out! Pure unprofessionalism! Felt like I was in junior high! Next she proceeded to accuse my 6 yr. old granddaughter of faking the eye test just to get glasses. I was repulsed and insulted by her and I will NEVER go back there again! Two words, unprofessional, and rude.
The young lady that assisted her was by far a better example of kindness and professionalism!

Called Saturday morning around 9:30 am, and was able to be scheduled the same day around noon. Aside from Dr. Hollie's service, the other three individuals were very helpful when I was trying to choose a new pair of glasses, from their huge name brand selections.

She increased my knowledge of options - including the bi-focal contacts I'm wearing as I write this. (Before coming into her office yesterday I didn't even know they existed). I don't mean one lens corrects near sightedness and the other for far-sightedness, which has been around forever and which often causes headaches and I wasn't interested in. I mean each eye is corrected for both. I don't know how it works, but it sure does. I can see clearly both close up and far away without glasses for the first time in 15 years. Thanks.
