Dr. Hanson was great. The office shows little respect for patients' time. Because I was a new patient I had to arrive 15 minutes early, even though I had completed all paperwork. They took my insurance card and ID, then I sat for 30 minutes in the waiting room. I then waited another 15 minutes in the exam room. 45 minutes of waiting for a 15 minute skin check. This was at 9:45, so they couldn't be that backed up yet.

I was immediately impressed by the nice office and the friendly front-of-office staff. The facilities were clean and welcoming, and the provider was very nice and easy to talk to. I'd definitely come back here and recommend it to others for dermatological needs.

Dr. Hanson is a native of Missoula, MT. She graduated magna cum laude from Duke University in 1995 and subsequently earned her PhD in immunology from Washington University in 2000. She then studied medicine at Cornell University where she became a member of AOA, the medical honor society. She graduated in 2004 with her MD and honors in research. Dr. Hanson completed her dermatology residency at Emory University in 2008 and is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. She joined Dermatology Associates of Georgia in November of 2008 and is a current partner. She and her husband, Arash, have two children, Amelie and Ashton, and enjoy travel, fly fishing, music and having fun in the outdoors.

The office staff was nice and seemed efficient. The doctor was really great!! First time seeing her and she took the time to ask me a few conversational questions.
