Dr. Gregg Diamond is a Board Certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist, and founder of the Diamondback Pain & Wellness Center. Born in Houston, Texas, he has lived and practiced in the Dallas/Ft.Worth and North Texas area for over twenty years.
He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin and completed medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1987. he completed an internship in General Surgery at Tulane University in New Orleans, then he did his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Diamond has focused his practice on treating all forms of musculoskeletal injuries including work related and sports related injuries. He is an expert in electrodiagnostic testing for such problems including Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Cervical and Lumbar Radiculopathies, and all forms of peripheral nerve injuries He is also trained in joint injection procedures and lumbar and cervical spinal injections for management of pain syndromes. He is well-versed in the prolotherapy ligament reconstruction procedures as well. He is an avid Blues and Rock music fan, and has produced several records at Willie Nelson’s studios in Austin with Double Trouble, the rhythm section for Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Rocky Athas, “A Texas Guitar Legend”.
