The doctor was fine. He was knowledgeable but his front desk staff was extremely incompetent on many levels.
I wouldn't visit him anymore. He doesn't like I ask a question. He's bad manner.

Dr. Kotler and his staff were first rate in all aspects!
Took great care of me, and I was fun to talk with.
I went to see the doctor for my ear ringing. Doctors comes in, checks my ears with his little instrument , found nothing wrong. Explains different reasons for ear ringing and put me through lab test for hearing. Lab test took 45 mind to finish and the doc who took my lab test was more infirmative than kotler. Finished lab test , my hearing is almost perfect and the results are available in the hands of doc who did audio test. I was hoping kotler to review the results and tell me my next steps on how to proceed with ear ringing. But i was told by the office and the audio doctor to make another appointment to have the audio test results verified. Really? The doctor is sitting right there in his office .Why can't he check the results now and tell me what's wrong? Why do I need to revisit, go through whole process again, pay covisit just to get these results verified? I insisted the doc who performed audio test that the results be verified now by hotler. The doc went into hotler office talked with him for 5 mins and came out saying that kotler said results are OK. So what now? That's the end of the story of my visit? Kotler didn't even come out of his offfice. I still have pain and constant ear ringing. I was asked if i want a follow up. I took follow up appointment but with the experience i got, I decided not to visit him again. So, here I am after a month now, writing review and looking for another ENT doctor because I still have the problem.

The doctors was straight to the point. He didn't even explain how many time a day I should use the nasal rinse he gave me. He just gave me the box he seem to be in a hurry. He suggested that I lose a 100 pounds if I wanted to live longer but I was not in his office for a daily does of health watch. I was there because another doctor keep giving me antibiotics for several months and my nose seem all dry out and sore. I was so uncomfortable I for got to ask him certain questions. I can deal with him long enough to get well and move on.
My first visit was great and Dr. Kotler is such a nice individual. I would recommend him to everyone. His personality and professionalism got us hooked.

Good DR. he explained my condition in detail.

Dr. Kotler was awesome. Really knowledgeable and honest about his diagnosis and treatment recommendations. It must have been his secretary's first week though as there was a fair amount of struggle with the paperwork and insurance information.

Dr. Kotler did a fantastic job and once I got in the exam room the exam was fast and he did an excellent job of explaining everything and answering all my questions. However, the wait time at the office was unacceptable. I ended up waiting one and a half hours before I was seen . Literally every patient who walked in after me was seen before me, even people who had missed appointments and were hours late were still seen at my inconvenience. For this reason I will most likely not go back to Dr. Kotler's office at Mercy Hospital despite him being a great doctor.
Great!

Everything was great except for the long wait!
Acceptable. Staff was very nice. Too long of a wait, but since it was in the hospital I took advantage of going to the gift shop and cafeteria. Great if they had pager/text message system.
it was okay
Informative. I felt very comfortable talking with Dr. Kotler. And he was very interested in what I had to say about my concerns regarding my health.
It was very good. We discussed the purpose of my visit, he did one short procedure look while I was there and scheduled two additional test. He was easy to talk with.
