Explained my procedure very well. Dr and the Staff were professional, they did a great job.
We drove 40+ miles for this appointment, and I don't feel he addressed the issue at hand to the degree he should have. He spent more time discussing another physical ailment that he doesn't treat. We left feeling as though the issue we drove all that way for was like a spider on the floor.....do I step on it and kill it, or do I walk away and let the spider be.
My appointment was at 10:40 am and I wasn't called until after 12:00 Noon and then had to wait a longer time in the room. Ridiculous!
I appreciated that Dr Tay took the time to answer my questions. I am much more ready to follow his recommendations if I know why I need to do it. Jenna S.
Katie was professional, courteous, and explained everything clearly.
He seems to be trying to help solve my problems.
Dr. Tay was very helpful in understanding my health issue. He was professional and courteous in recommending that I see another specialist that could help me.
My husband and I both really like Dr. Tay. My husband has been his patient for many years now. Dr. Tay has seen him through prostate cancer and kidney stones in both kidneys. His care was always top notch. We wouldn't go to anyone else.
Dr. Tay is a good, friendly doctor and cares about his patients issues and concerns. The wait time is often too long.
When Dr. Tay was not available for my 9/6 appointment, because of a sensitive matter I wanted to discuss, I chose to reschedule rather than seeing a female practitioner at the originally scheduled time. Although Katie Wall was very competent and very pleasant, I was surprised that my appointment was with her when Dr. Tay was also there. Because I didn't want to schedule another appointment, I discussed the sensitive matter with Katie Wall, and although she was very helpful, I was very uncomfortable with that discussion. In the future, I would recommend your contacting the patient a day or two in advance and asking whether a practitioner other than the one with whom the appointment was originally scheduled would be acceptable rather than unilaterally changing the practitioner; this is especially important if the practitioner is of a different gender.
Excellent, Dr Tay was an excellent communicator, very knowledgeable and was able to provide a very thorough plan. He answered all my questions. Would recommend him to everyone.
Dr. Tay has a kind bedside manner. Dr. Tay also explains the medical situation and all it's intricacies in clear, precise detail. My husband doesn't like his condition but he definitely likes Dr. Tay which says a lot! In addition, his back office woman (Liz) was very helpful, kind and accomodating which is refreshing.
I am not ready to rate Dr Tay, waiting to see if he can help.
Took a bit long to see him. He is patient and tried to explain things
Dr Tay is an excellent doctor, kind, professional and considerate. H e listens and explains what he feels is the right path to take while allowing me time to think it through. Dr Tay has taken very good care of me for several years, I trust him implicitly and I highly recommend him.
As always, Doctor Tay is the best!
Dr. Tay is straightforward and professional. I will refer him to other men both family and friends....The ladies are busy but friendly and helpful. Overall it has been a positive experience for me..
I have been a patient of Dr. Tay's for several years. He has been closely monitoring my situation during that time. It is very nice to have that type of an ongoing Doctor/Patient relationship.
Saw PA Katie Wall initially as Dr Tay was delayed in surgery. She was very thorough going over lab results then discussed with doctor before he came to see me. As always Dr Tay was kind, professional and thorough in his consultations. I am always treated very well in Dr Tay's practice.
He was very courteous and explained everything where we understood what he was saying.
Everyone is very friendly. Waiting less than 10 minutes to see Dr. Tay. He explained and addressed my concerns. Easy to understand. He is funny. I felt at ease with hi,. I would recommend seeing him.
I saw Katie Wall. She was Ferrell informative and I was very satisfied with my appointment!
Informative and the result was no surgery just a pill.
the talk with the doctor is short but informative. it is just the wait that takes more than an hour that stress me out.
Efficient courteous and medically very helpful
The appointment was good. I really don't know of any suggestions I could make for improvement.
I have had several kidney stones that had to be removed and a stent put in place and then removed. In the past I had always toughed it out and had the stent removed while fully awake. This time I opted for anesthesia in the doctor's office. WHAT A PLEASANT DIFFERENCE! From insertion of the IV until I was walking out of the office having felt nothing but the needle prick for the IV took only 45 minutes.
Today was my stent removal. Dr Tay was wonderful as always and so was his assistant. I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful Doctor with a wonderful staff as well.
He is all business but that is what I like.
As always Dr Tay's team were very polite and caring to both myself and my husband.
Dr Tay really cares about his patients. When I was in the hospital after a procedure he came and checked on me every day.
Good doctor. Pretty honest and you can feel conformable to ask questions.
I really enjoy working with Dr. Tay. He takes plenty of time to explain everything thoroughly. Great bedside manners. Very professional yet pleasant.
Although I had to wait about 1 hour for my appointment, I was satisfied with my health care at this office. Nurses and receptionist are courteous and helpful, Dr. Tay seems very competent, and the office provides many services, such as ultra sound and blood draw, so you don't need to travel around town to get things done.
Dr. Tay reviewed my CT scan results, reviewed my PSA NUMBER , AND TOLD MY HOW MY OVERALL HEALTH WAS. hE ALSO RENEWED SOME PRESCRIPTIONS FOR ME.
Dr Tay was kind, very informative, answered all my questions and didn't rush me. He was very thorough and when I left I was at ease. The staff was very professional, nice and informative as well.
Very Knowledgable and good at explaining condition and options for treatment.
Excellent. He has always been informative with every step he does. Explains every test, very laid back. Has never been short with me or his staff. I respect him so much. Been a patient of his about four years.
He was very kind and considerate and very professional. He texted or emailed Dr. Hasinski with the results of my prostate exam within minutes after explaining to me any issues that may occur and if there was a problem what his treatment plan would be. His running a DNA urine test on me which will be interesting to find out what the results will show. Outstanding doctor!
It seemed as though he was very thorough but I haven't received any test results or follow up so it is difficult to evaluate at this point. I feel I will be receiving excellent and thorough care based on my first visit.
I met with Amanda today for a catheter change. She is awesome and does a fantastic job and is so compassionate.
I've visited the doctor's office three times so far. The ladies in the office are professional and friendly. At my age I tend to get a bit grouchy. The ladies were kind and patient, the doctor has a sense of humor. The office seems to be a busy one and yet patients, from what I've seen, are not left to wait....Personally I was a bit apprehensive. The doctor and his staff put me at ease....
When you get 2 email reminders, a zocdoc reminder, and 2 texts about your appointment, I get the impression they are serious about their appointment times. It was 50 minutes after my appointment before the NP stepped in. And I did not have an appt. with the NP, I had an appointment with the doctor, who I never even saw. And with a 50 minute wait time, I don't call that a 3 star experience. I like Dr. Tay, but this was an unsatisfactory experience.
Very informative and through
Great experience. Professional, kind and good listener.
Dr Tay is a very good uroligyst, have been seeing him for a couple of years. Sometimes the wait times can be a bit longer than most Drs.I have seen. I think the wait times will get shorter because there are more Doctors in the office now.
We like how Dr. Tay never makes you feel that he is rushed and spends time with you explaining things very well and answering any questions that you may have.
He has a deep understanding of the health issue I face and a methodical approach to finding a solution. I feel very confident under his care..
Dr. Tay seems to be an expert in his field. I realize he is restricted by the established Medical Profession and insurance companies to use only practices that are approved by them. I plan to use a combination of his recommendations along with Naturopathic treatments that I have researched.
These visits have been followup for the cancer he found and removed. It has not returned for the last 10 years. He is articulate and caring. A good choice.
As always the staff at Dr. Tay's office greets you with a friendly disposition. Dr. Tay is always helpful in explain in detail what is going on with your body. He and his staff are extremely knowledgeable in the latest procedures and will happy to give you their opinion on what is best in your personal situation.
Dr. Tay was thorough in his review of my lab results, and informing me of significant changes in my results as measured against my previous lab results of four months ago. He advised me to discuss specifics of my current labs with my primary care physician. He asked me how I was doing under my medication regimen, and once again, he said I should thoroughly discuss these matters with my primary care. In closing, he said that with just two of my lab results falling into the abnormal scores, things appear to be doing fine.
First visit, I was very impressed with his knowledge and straight forward approach. Very glad he is my Dr.
Dr. Tay takes his time in explaining all aspects, answers and discusses all questions, alternatives and options
The whole staff was very professional. And Dr. Tay seems to be a good doctor. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Tay so far. I don't like going to the doctors, but If I have to go, I would like to be seen by Dr. Tay. This was a great first visit to Arizona State Urology. Thank you.
It was a great visit no waiting and excellent checkup
A pleasure to meet him. Wait time was not satisfactory especially when you're asked to arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. I was still in waiting room until 9:45 for a 9am appt. Then nurse popped in and out of room and I could hear she was meeting with other patients when she's telling me she was grabbing paperwork. Each time out was another 10 minutes. But I thoroughly enjoyed the doctor. He was patient and did not rush me. Answered all questions.
Dr Tay is very pleasant and easy to talk too. He is good natured and makes his patients feel comfortable and at ease. He explains all issues well and makes certain you understand everything before he leaves the office.
Smart physician with clean offices.
appointment was with katie, pretty thourgh, some things she explained i did not understand, sometimes they need to slow down in ther explaining and make sure we understand. lots of things we do not understand.
the visit was OK. I do not appreciate having an appointment with Dr. Tay, and being put with a nurse practitioner at the last minute without warning. I should have been notified in advance if I was not going to se Dr. Tay. He has been my doctor for more than 17 years and I have never had a substitute.
Wait time is horribly ridiculous! Arrived 15 minutes early for appointment and was seen 50 minutes after appointment time. Office does not appear to respect the value of time for the patient.
The tech and assistant and doctor all explained what they were going to do and what kind of discomfort I should expect. They were also all patient with me as I struggled through the discomfort. Dr. Tay was patient as I asked my questions, and he answered each question until I was satisfied.
Dr. Tay is remarkable. If he could only clone a few more copies of himself, more patients in need would benefit from his expertise. I feel fortunate, indeed, to have had Dr. Tay operate on me, am absolutely confident in his abilities, and appreciate what he's done to improve the quality of my life. Thank you Dr. Tay! Adam H
The wait time was unacceptable. However, am very impressed with Dr. Tay and have trust in him.
Dr Tay was very sincere, receptive and professional. I highly recommend him as a Urologist!
Dr. Tay performed a Photoselective Vaporization of the Prostate to treat my BPH. I am two days post op, and feeling great! The doctor is a very skilled practitioner and an excellent surgeon. I would recommend him to anyone with a urological condition. Adam H
Good visit, good results.
Always very professional, and respectful to us and other patients.
Very professional and thorough. Made me feel very comfortable.
the visit was good, but i still have the probably ( going to bathroom 4-5-6 times a night ) on 3-9-17 that i had on my appoint. day of 3-3-17. and my next appoint. is not till thur. 3-30-17 with some follow up stuff. still not sure what my diagnosis was on my visit of 3-3.
Excellent doctor. Couldn't ask for anyone better.
Professional MD, easy to talk to. God listener
Was pleased and look forward to working with him.
Just like week, the front and back desk girls and nurses, were very kind and professional.
Been going to Dr Tay for over 20 years. Would recommend him to anyone
It always a pleasure to visit Dr Tay. He is very professional and cheerful. He has a great altitude in a difficult field. I rate his medical expertise and knowledge among the best in his field. I highly recommend him.
The girls at the desk and nurses are always friendly and professional!
Waited for almost 2 hours then spend less than 10 minutes with the doctor very disappointed
Did not like the hour wait it took me to see Dr. Tay, but when I did I felt that I was in good hands, by the questions he asked regarding my problems.
Dr. Tay is very good but my only problem is the wait time every time I visit him. It always seems to be an hour or plus. You may need to review your scheduling times in connection to the procedures planned in earlier appointments.
Waited 1 1/2 hours to be seen for 10 minutes!
It went quickly and efficiently as always, yesterday!
He was very professional and concerning. He's very patient and I assure you he's doing his best to find the actual problem not just a problem.
Everyone is very kind! Always professional!
My visit with Dr. Tay was delightful. He explained things in a manner that was easily understood and at the end of my appointment I felt reassured that I was in good hands.
Great doctor, he took time to listen to all the details and answered all the questions that I had
Pleasant, informative, reassuring.
I've been a patient of Dr. Tay's for 18yrs. Love him. He listens and I feel he really listens to me, won't go anywhere else
Great service and help with condition
I am very satisfied with the professionalism and care that I have received from Dr Tay. The office people are very friendly and have a very positive attitude.
Highly competent professional.
This is a Doctor who listened to me BEFORE he made any comments. He was extremely professional and really explaines ALL options. I will tell everyone about him.
it was great as always
He very professional and caring with his patients. He explains the procedure you will need very well, and answers all your questions so you understand them.
I didn't see Dr. Tay. I saw Katie for a BGC treatment. She is very good at her job.
Very nice Dr. Explains everything and is very cordial.
Professional and informative.
Dr. Tay is the best. My biopsy was professional and painless. Thank you.
I like Dr Tay ..very knowelegable MD
Have been with Dr Tay as my urologist for 7or 8 months. Wait time has gotten much better since he moved his office. I have been very satisfied with Dr Tay and will continue to see him ,
answered all my questions very well
Short and informative
Very professional doctor and staff.
It seemd, Dr. Tay offers a confidence that he knows about his specialty field.
I like doctors TAY paitance and not rushing for a daiagnose getting all the test and facts together while caring about the patios !! And not about making money .
I have seen Dr. Tay as my urologist for quite a number of years now. He always answers my questions, and I like the way he always seems upbeat and enjoying what he does. I would highly recommend him to any new patient.
Very Caring , serious about the visit and competent. A+++
Took time to explain to me what was going on and options.
Very professional and extremely competent. The office and support staff are caring and professional. I would highly recommend Dr Tay and Arizona State Urology.
Excellent service and professional care.
First time But went very well
Waiting time to long
Very professional and informative.
He was very professional. What I didn't like was providing all of my insurance inf when I made the appt. recd a text yesterday to preregister and provided all the same info on the text then when I arrived a 4 page questionnaire with the same inf. Really a waste of patients time and staff...
I liked Dr.Tay from the first time I met him. I had seen (2) doctors before him and neither one of them were as thorough as he. He took time to explain the nuances of the treatments available. Before I choose my course of treatment he made sure I had the best and the latest technologies available for my decision. Today was my third follow up before we went trough my latest PSA results he asked me how I was doing emotionally. To me in this day in age when doctors rush you out he makes me feel like I matter and to me that is as important as dealing with prostate cancer. Today was a good day good results and I know my doctor is watching my back.
Wait time was ridiculous. I had a 1:50 appointment and did not see Dr. Tay until 3:30. My boss was less than happy with me when I finally returned to work.
Doctor was good. Wait time - UNACCEPTABLE!
He is a great doctor who delivers outstanding professional service
I appreciated the professional treatment from Dr Tay, and his staff.
It was a pleasant experience.
The appointment was held in a very professional manner.
Dr. Tay explained all the issues I have clearly and I will follow up in the next visit about the procedures.
DR. Tay is a fabulous Dr. but today the wait time was unacceptable..my dad had a 9:10 appt he was not called back until 10:30. By the time we left it was 11:20, I understand some wait time but this was ridiculous, please remember our time is just as important
My visit was with Katie Wall. Outstanding in every way.
Dr was fine. Wait was ridiculous
I was struck by professionalism of the staff and Dr. Tay. The wait was somewhat my fault. I was there on the wrong day and they squeezed me in. What is Zocdoc?
Dr. Tay was very professional and through. He took the time to review my documents and understood the diagnoses. He discussed some possible treatments we could try in the future.
Arrived 10 minutes before 1 PM appt. Taken to exam room at 1:40 waited there until 2:30, got up to leave, receptionist asked how it went, told her never saw Dr., she took me back and two minutes later saw Dr. What would you think?
Very professional in explaining something that I did not comprehend before this.
He was very straight forward and explained everything where I can understand my problem. It is great when you can understand what a doctor say's.
I was disappointed that because Dr. Tay was running behind schedule he deferred me to his P.A. I was told I didn't have kidney stones and that is probably why, but I am still having pain like a kidney stone with the phleboliths that I was diagnosed with and I wasn't given any advice as to how to treat this pain.
Very good at explaining my health situation. Very personable and easy to communicate with.....
My parents have been patients of Dr. Tay for over 20 years. My mother passed away several years ago, so I accompany my father to his visit's & I understand now why they loved him so much, he is kind, caring & professional. My father is blessed to have such a wonderful Urologist. Grateful Daughter
This was my first visit wih Dr. Tay and I found it very professional throughout with both the doctor and his entire staff. Although i can't say i really look forward to an ongoing relationship, as long as I do need his care, he certainly will be my first choice.
Love Dr Tay and have been seeing him for 14 years. We were early so we had a 15-20 minutes wait in the waiting room and then about the same amount of time in the procedure room. Office staff and nurses are always helpful and kind. Dr Tay did seem rushed today and didn't want to take the time to explain something more than once to my husband who has PD. ( patient)
Ms. Wall was very professional in her work, she did all that was required of her. Right to the point with all of her questions, and had answers to all of my questions. Thank You
medical record was reviewed with me, in a pleasant professional manner
Your office was very good about insuring I was not going to miss my scheduled appointment (phone calls, text messages, and e-mails), however they could not take the time to inform me that the doctor was running 60 minutes late or more. Communication would have been appreciated. I don't want to sit in a waiting room for over an hour. It is discourteous to a patients valuable time.
As always, Dr. Tay was very professional and very good
I have been Dr. Tay's patient for a lot of years and drive 50 miles for visits. That should say enough.
The nursing staff/ assistants were very friendly. The doctor explained the procedure and the process as well. However, the wait time in the room was extremely long. We waited 40 minutes in the room for the doctor and assistants to come do the procedure.
Everything is fine except the wait time in waiting room is too long.
Very thorough explanations during my consultation
I have been very pleased with Dr Tay and his practice. Everyone is pleasant and helpful
Dr. Tay was very pleasant. He was very attentive, and addressed all issues I raised expeditiously and with genuine concern.
It was great. He answered all my questions. He informed me about my issues so that i understood.
Dr. Tay has been my urologist for a few years and I really like him. He takes time to talk with you and help with any problems you may be having. I would recommend Dr. Tay if you are looking for a urologist.
When I was hospitalized Dr.Tay was the Dr.who attended to me in the hospital and scheduled for a follow-up with Dr.Tay and he's been an excellent Dr...
Dr Tay is an excellent physician. Well versed in his field and made my diagnosis quickly and accurately. He explained what he perceived, stated what was fact and gave his opinion on what he believed to be the problem while waiting the necessary testing. 2nd visit confirmed what he thought and I saw results in a couple of days after the first visit, which he said I probably would. As a care giver and a former EMT, I'm impressed, and highly recommend him.
Visit only, reviewed ct scan disks. Had to set up for another appointment time. It would have been nice to have the procedure done on the 1st visit! ???
Dr Tay was excellent in suggesting the proper treatment of my wife's incontinence. He was brief and did not waist or time.
Excellent Explained everything, very personable, and gave me great confidence in his judgement and abilities.
Dr Tay and his office staff were phenomenal! I will definitely refer others to him.
Dr Tay as always is courteous, kind and efficient. He explains everything and lets you know what he plans to do to allow an informed decision.
I really do not have an opinion because it was my first visit.
Staff is very friendly. Dr. Tay explains very well and comes straight to the point. Wait time is the weak point in this clinic. 15 minutes after arranged schedule I was picked up by a nurse and accompanied to the examination room where I had to wait another 30 minutes round about until Dr. Tay showed up.
First time visit. He was great, very thorough
Except for the long wait I was very pleased. Dr Tay and his staff are very professional and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable and satisfied with his recommendations, planned tests and follow up. Thanks Dr Tay. Shirley W
Consultation only, scheduled procedure. Doctor was great, the wait time was NOT. Waited over an hour after my scheduled appt time. Hopefully the upcoming procedure is better in that regard.
I thought he presented himself as a very smart doctor who was able to address all of my concerns.
The visit was good. Dr. Tay and his staff are professionals.
Good Doc, heavily scheduled, somewhat disorganized office
Very professional and understanding.
Dr. Howard Tay was very professional answer my questions explained everything that I needed to know. Will be back in about two weeks to do my procedure. Could have got gotten in earlier for my procedure but it's more convenient for me for time that I asked for
Dr Tay is smart, has a very comfortable bedside manor and provided a treatment plan that has allowed me to feel in control and engaged in a treatment plan that will return me to health.
Great and pleasant staff, very efficient in getting information. Dr Tay was excellent in his discussion and didn't blame my reluctance to see a physician on why my symptoms were the way they are!
The whole experience was unbelievably as how efficient everything was from making an appointment to the very short wait time at the office. The wait in the exam room was only minutes before Dr. Tay was in and discussing my condition. He diagnose my condition, discussed it in layman terms and even pulled up a diagram which clarified any questions and concerns I had. He was professional, polite and friendly as the entire staff. I would highly recommendation Dr. Tay and his office to anyone, if my mother & father were alive, I would refer them to Dr. Tay, that should say it all.
I love his frank, no BS assessments. He lets you take responsibility for your decisions about your treatment. I totally trust Dr Tay.
Though by appointment was scheduled for 4pm with Dr. Tay I waited 20 minutes in the waiting room before be taken back to an exam room. After waiting about 15 more minutes before one of Dr. Tay PA's came in to see me. She took my medical history and offered me a prostate exam which I declined. I wanted to see Dr. Tay, she told me I would have to wait I little longer because he had a difficult case he was working on. I ended up waiting another 20 minutes. Dr. Tay did come and see and he did apologize for the long wait.
I first went to Dr Tay with a lump which had to be removed surgically. During my recovery I developed an abscess. I notified the office and they immediately had me come into the office. I never have had to wait and always received professional friendly service. I would recommend Dr Tay and staff to anyone.
I haven't seen him yet but Betsy did a wonderful job of listening to me and doing everything she could to help me get the tests I need right away.
All went okay but unclear of what procedure will do. I have kidney stones that hurt very bad and cysts on my kidneys and liver, but the tests are on the bladder and ureathra
Dr Tay is best doctor
Doctor is very competent and explains things in terms the average person can understand.
Very professional. He listened to what I had to say and I feel he ask the questions that needed to be asked.
Dr. Tay provides an invaluable service related to sensitive medical issues with class and respect. He put my mind at ease and I feel very confident in his diagnosis and treatment directions.
Very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Addresses all concerns and answers all questions. As a physician myself, would highly recommend to my friends, family, and patients
Very thorough explanations, conservative treatment plan, exactly what I was looking for!
Dr Tay and staff were very friendly and explained my planned procedures in detail.
Like him, but saw him for about 5 minutes after waiting more than one hour. Not sure yet if I will continue to see him or not. Nurse (?) indicated that this was the usual.
Dr. Tay is very knowledgable and informative! We're glad to have him as our Urologist!
He made me feel confident that he is going to help me find out what is causing my medical complications.
Very good experience.
This visit to Dr. Tay was worth the wait. He is very personable while being thorough. He took time to explain the issue and the further treatment needed. He put my mind at ease and gave me assurance about the procedure that will be done.
Thorough quick and easy.
Dr Tay appears was very careful in ordering up the appropriate amount of tests and work-up prior to any diagnosis which is what I would prefer. Because no results are in yet it's hard to evaluate the doctor until a plan of treatment is discussed which will be after all the test results are in. Other than that I found that Dr Tay was very professional and is going to review all results before any recommended treatment.
I felt very comfortable with him as a doctor.
Dr. Tay is very professional, knowledgeable and truly cares about his patients. He is friendly and he is a great listener. I did not feel rushed or feel like a number . . he delivered very personalized care. He was committed and dedicated to resolving my health issues and I am so thankful to be free of kidney stone pain once again. I would highly recommend Dr. Tay and will continue to see him for my future health check ups and concerns, if any. He has an amazing staff from check in to check out. They were all so helpful, friendly and professional. I truly appreciated the great customer service! Thank you everyone, including the receptionist, the lab service provider, the medical assistant to Dr.Tay and the surgery scheduler! You should all be commended on your exceptional customer service!!!
Great office and staff, everything was moving smoothly for how busy it was, only drawback was the wait time. Almost 2 hours for a new patient visit and blood draw.
Zocdoc scheduled wrong time and day. Dr Tay. Not available. Dr Nelson saw me instead. Good visit otherwise. Thank you!
Always very happy with Dr Tay. I think it took so long to be seen because they were trying to squeeze me in as a favor. Highly recommend.
Muy buena atencion me presento toda las posibilidadez para encontrar mi problema
He was kind and thorough with his questions.
He was very clear on informing me of what I needed to have done. He was very compassionate in my care and helped me out as much as possible.
Dr Tay has been my urologist for 13 years and he has always been very friendly, punctual in addition to being very professional.
