Qualifications and Experience
Late Apts and Saturday apts: We are open every other Saturday and on Fridays until 5:30 pm for patient convenience. Appointment policy : An appointment made at zocdoc does not mean you will be seen at that time and day without getting a verbal/phone confirmation by the office. Verbal/phone confirmation is given by the office after staff checks and confirms your insurance information. *NEW PATIENTS: If you have an afternoon appointment, please be sure to call the office before 4PM on the day of your appointment to provide insurance information and get verified. We cannot verify your insurance after 4 pm since most insurance offices close around 4, and so your apt. may be cancelled/rescheduled if it cannot be verified with your insurance. Dr. Humara Shireen Gull is Board Certified Internist with more than 15 years of experience in Internal Medicine & Primary Care. She is also Fellowship trained and Board Certified in Nuclear Medicine. Her areas of expertise includes cardiac stress testing and Thallium heart scans, Dexa for osteoporosis, and thyroid, lung, kidney, bone and gall bladder scans for diagnosis of multiple diseases. She graduated Summa Cum Laude, class of 1990. Dr. Gull completed her post graduate residency training at Yale in Connecticut and her fellowship at Columbia University, New York, and University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri. She has served as Chief, Section of Nuclear Medicine at VA Hospital, Houston and Charleston, SC and as Associate Professor, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas. She is a Fellow, American College of Physicians and has staff privileges at Kingwood Medical Center, Kingwood, Texas. The office has Saturday and late evening appointments available.

Dr. Gull is very professional and explains how your symptoms fit with your diagnosis. She also explains how the medications will work and possible side effects.
