I first saw Dr. Cho for a routine check-up and then immediately after my second visit with her, she told me that my insurance wasn't accepted -- even though I specifically chose her, because she was in my network-- and that I owed her hundreds out of pocket. She also told me that I might need surgery. Weeks later, I tried to get in touch with her, but the calls went unanswered. I went to her doctor's office and was told that she went to China and the receptionist had no idea when she would be returning. I asked to get a copy of my patient records from my visit with Dr. Cho and was told by the receptionist that they didn't have any of her patient records and that she didn't know where they might be. I called the local labs to get my lab results that Dr. Cho said she sent in and was told that they never received anything from Dr. Cho in months. Highly strange experience.

Took two weeks to get blood work lab results back, and I had to inquire about the results. In order to see my results, I had to make another appointment. So I not only paid for the test, but I also paid for the results. Dr. Cho also provided me with medical advice that was insignificant, unhelpful, and had no valid reasoning behind it. Would not recommend.

I've had the same issues with Dr. Cho others have noted here; I went in for a consultation, and let her talk me into running some additional tests, which she noted I should hear about in two weeks. It's now been over two months, and Dr. Cho has been a complete ghost -- she doesn't answer her phone or reply to e-mail or messages. She seems to be unavailable for a follow up appointment, and when I stopped by the office I'd seen her in, they were completely unaware of her schedule or availability and had no way to access my results. I'm now caught up in the Kafkaesque process of trying to get my results from the lab directly, a process that is more than a little ridiculous. Please do yourself a favor and seek treatment from someone else.

Dr. Cho rescheduled my first appointment, which had been in the books for over a month. I was understanding, even though I had already requested the time off work to attend the appointment.
When I did finally go in, she was hasty, rude and condescending. She tried to push expensive treatments without even diagnosing me for anything. She used fear tactics and constantly repeated herself in a condescending manner.
When I went back for my followup, (I wouldn't have gone back to her if I didn't have to receive my blood work results from her) my appointment was at 9am. I showed up 15 minutes early for my appointment, as you should for any appointment. The office was locked and no one was there. They opened the office at 9. Dr. Cho showed up at 9:10. I had to wait for her to get situated. Already 15-20 minutes behind schedule, it took her 45 minutes to tell me one thing about my blood work. She had no concrete suggestions as to how I can adjust my lifestyle/diet to compensate for the issue with my blood. She vaguely suggested one thing, but said "everyone is different though, so I can't really say for sure." I asked for a copy of my blood work. This took a half hr because their copy machine did not work. The whole experience was so unprofessional from the first cancelled appointment to the hour long appointment that should have taken 15-20 minutes AT MOST. Never going back.

I think that while she may be a fine and knowledgeable doctor her push to use lasers to treat things like acne (not bad acne either) turned me off. In addition, she pushes products which are not covered by insurance and then offers you their own products (she works at a medical spa) which are also not covered by insurance. I have never had a doctor do this in the past. Last, her accent makes it rather hard to understand what she is saying at times.
