Abraham Fakhouri, MD, is a primary care physician who specializes in Family Medicine at Nevada Family Care & Wellness Center in Henderson, Nevada. With the goal of partnering with each of his patients for overall health and wellness, rather than seeing them as a list of symptoms, Dr. Fakhouri emphasizes quality care that is tailored to the specific needs of each member of the family, from toddlers to the most senior.
Dr. Fakhouri obtained his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, and biophysics at the University of California, San Diego. From there, he went on to complete medical school training at Flinders University’s College of Medicine and Public Health in South Australia, and his medical residency training in Pittsburgh, where he specialized in primary care medicine, with an emphasis on hospital and critical care medicine.
To help others with their education, Dr. Fakhouri serves as an adjunct clinical professor at Touro University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine in Vallejo, California. He also underwent training as a wound care and hyperbaric specialist at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, and he has extensive national training as a wellness expert.
Throughout his education and training, Dr. Fakhouri received honors and multiple accolades for community health outreach and service, both nationally and internationally. He was also recognized with the prestigious “Teacher of the Year” award by his peers and the National Society of Teachers of Family Medicine.
Dr. Fakhouri fervently believes in uncovering the boundaries of health and wellness. The body can achieve great things if nutrition, diet, and the body’s chemicals are monitored and optimized properly and maximally.

Dr. Fakhouri is an amazingly awesome PCP and we are SO grateful to have found him via ZocDoc! Dr Fakhouri is a great doctor. He listens to your concerns and gives professional educated recommendations. I am actually changing my PCP to him because my other PCP is an arrogant "know it all" who wouldnt address my concerns.

Dr.Fakhuri genuinely cared about me which it is hard to find these days,took time to listen and also took time to explain my health issues.
