Dr. Ahmed completed his training at the University of Utah (Internship and Anatomic Pathology residency) and at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota (Dermatology residency). At the Mayo Clinic, Dr. Ahmed was an Academic Professor of Dermatology, Senior Consultant in Dermatology, Director of Dermatopathology and Co-Director of the Dermatopathology fellowship program. He has served on the editorial boards of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, Dermatologic Surgery and International Journal of Dermatology and continues to serve on the editorial panel of the American Journal of Dermatopathology. Dr. Ahmed is the recipient of several practice and teaching awards and has over 100 published abstracts and manuscripts to his credit. He enjoys his free time travelling, fly fishing, skiing and helping his humanitarian foundation.

This doctor’s office arranged their patients to wait outside in their car until they called in. Patient has to text them to notify of arrival. After that they come along to take patient inside. They are doing that for Covid situation . Since Covid situation is better now they can omit this process since it’s time consuming. For those new patient it’s quite unusual and surprising if they are dropped off by other household member.

My experience with the Skin clinic was very positive. The staff was friendly but professional. I didn't have to wait much at all to see the physician. Dr. Ahmed was very professional and listen to my c/o. Dr. Ahmed, also advised me if my psoriasis doesn't clear up within 2 weeks to make an appointment with him. I would recommend Dr. Ahmed to any of my colleagues and friends.

My experience with Dr. Ahmed was great! He is very engaging, took the time to look over my skin condition, and was keen to recommend tips and treatments that will help keep it away after the medication dose is complete. All doctors should have the enthusiasm of Dr. Ahmed - being able to prescribe medications, but also take the time to listen about prior history and how to prevent it from recurring. The sign in procedure is also excellent - text the office when you reach the parking lot, and someone from the staff will bring paperwork and get you when ready for your appointment. Will definitely go back to Dr. Ahmed for any future dermatological needs.
