This was my first encounter with Dr. Priven. He seemed to know what he was talking about and was very personable. Not happy that the office only takes cash for your co-pay.

I am not big on going to the doctors but Dr. Priven, was great to work with. He is polite, professional, thorough, and what I liked the most is that he wrote the whole discussion down in his notes. I left the office feeling confident and educated on what the next steps would be. I would add that the receptionist was very friendly and courteous, the nurse that took my blood was great.

Dr. Priven is a board certified endocrinologist. He completed his endocrinology fellowship at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, with additional training at the Mayo Clinic. He is one of only six physicians in New Jersey designated as a "Thyroidologist". In addition, he specializes in performance and interpretation of thyroid ultrasonography and ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration of thyroid nodules. He also performs and interprets Bone Densitometry/DEXA scans for osteoporosis screening due to thyroid and other metabolic conditions. Dr. Priven also specializes in diabetes diagnosis and management. He is licensed in New Jersey and New York.

Doctor Igor Priven is an absolute expert on Diabetes. He has set me up on programs to help me control my blood sugar levels that I did not even know existed. He listens to every single word that you say regarding your condition. He also shows compassion and understand and is an excellent Doctor. I give him 5 Stars and recommend him highly. It would be nice if other Doctors were as good as he is.

Dr Priven was great. He spent a lot of time with me explaining all my concerns. I traveled from Staten Island N.Y. to Manalapan N.J. which was about a 40 minute trip to see him.It was well worth the trip.I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a good Endocrinologist.
