“Dr. Igor is a great dermatologist. He is always eager to help and has great bedside manner even though he usually is in a hurry. I’m assuming he has a lot of clients, which wouldn’t be surprising given his personality. My only complaint is the wait time, which was a little over an hour but Dr. Igor is always worth the wait. Very friendly staff too.”

Mr. Igor Romanov, NP, MSN, is a dedicated General Nurse Practitioner and Adult Nurse Practitioner for children and adults in Brooklyn, NY. He speaks English, Russian, and Polish, and he is learning Spanish.
Mr. Romanov became a medical doctor at Crimean Medical University in Simferopol, and he completed a dermatology residency. He later became a registered nurse in Obninsk, Russia, before becoming a nurse practitioner in Brooklyn, NY. Mr. Romanov currently provides a number of skin-related services. Igor Romanov was speaking to me like I was his best friend. The first words I've heard from him were: "don't wrinkle your forehead or you'll need a botox injection soon" (I didn't come to him to get beauty tips).
He didn't listen to me at all, he said he had been practicing for 27 years and doesn't need my explanations. I've tried asking some questions about the pills he was prescribing (side effects, dosage, etc.), but he just laughed and said: "don't worry, why you so nervous?"
Also he ordered a lot of medications without any explanations on how to use and why do I need them in a first place (some of them are very strong and have a ton of side effects).

Igor Romanov was very friendly and kind. However, he made a diagnosis and told me that he would call the prescription in. He never called the prescription in. I went to my pharmacy and waited for him to call the prescription in but he never did. I would not recommend him. Overall this was a huge waste of my time.

I have never had a better experience than this one. Doctor Romanov saw me wishing 5 minutes of my appointment time. He is an expert in his field and is very kind and patient.

I think Igor was great. His bedside manner was efficient and he was spot on with his treatment. My issue is that the medication was never called into the pharmacy. When I went to pick it up, it hadn't been received by the pharmacy. When I called I spoke to a person who assured me it was sent. I waited for 1 hour and it was never sent. 10 days later it still was not sent. I called again and was told the medication would be sent over. Again I called to the pharmacy and it was not received. What is the point of seeking care when you can't get the medication? Not good!!

The visit was fairly quick, my daughter’s problem was thoroughly checked, and we left with a clear treatment plan, which is actually helping now. Overall, satisfied with the care, explanations, and the overall office atmosphere.

Everyone from the receptionists, to the provider that I saw was very nice and welcoming. I have been suffering from acne for ten plus years with no positive outcome. I have been to three other dermotologists, who continued to give me topical creams that never worked. Finally I came here and was recommended accutane. I was very hesitant at first but I'm very happy with my decision thus far three months in and my skin is already 90% clear. cant wait to see the final result.

More recently, I have been struggling with moderate acne. Mostly on my chin. I came here expecting to be given a pill that I must take on a daily basis which is not really what I wanted. Instead I was perscribed epidno, my insurance even covors this entirely, and on top of that my chin has cleared up almost instantely very happy with my experience here.
