Dr. Iliya Beylin received his undergraduate education from the University of Miami. He graduated with honors in 1995 with a major in psychology and minors in chemistry and mathematics. He started his medical education at New York College of Podiatric Medicine and then transferred to Barry University School of Graduate Medical Sciences. Because of academic achievements he was on President’s roll and Academic Dean’s list multiple times. Dr. Beylin graduated with honors in 1999.
From 1999 to 2002 Dr. Iliya Beylin received his post-graduate training from Cooper Hospital/ UMC in Camden, NJ. During the 3 years of surgical residency he had extensive hands-on experience with trauma of the lower extremity, sports medicine, reconstructive surgery and diabetic limb salvage.
Upon graduating from the residency program, Dr. Beylin moved to Tampa area, where he was a part of a large podiatry practice. He spent 4 years providing podiatric medical and surgical services to patients in the Tampa Bay area. In 2006 Dr. Beylin moved to South Florida, where he was an associate in a busy podiatric practice.
Dr. Iliya Beylin is board certified in foot and ankle surgery since 2006. He is board certified in foot and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Dr. Beylin is a Fellow of American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He specializes in sports medicine, trauma of the lower extremity, reconstructive surgery, surgical and non surgical treatments of many conditions of the foot and ankle in children and adults.Dr Beylin is trained in ankle replacement,arhtroscopy and external fixation.
