Raised in Berlin, Dr. Naumann graduated from Humboldt University Medical School and completed her medical dissertation on the Genetics of Neurofibromatosis with Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Naumann completed her residency training in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at Indiana University, Indianapolis, IN and her Fellowship training in Neurotology at Michigan Ear Institute. She returned to Michigan after practicing as Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology and Neurosurgery and the Head of the Division of Otology/Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA. Dr. Naumann treats patients with chronic ear disease, hearing loss, vertigo and tumors of the ear and skull base. Dr. Naumann teaches physicians in training at DMC and holds a clinical professor position at Michigan State University. Dr. Naumann regularly travels on medical missions to countries such as Cambodia, sharing her skills, offering local physicians advice and treating patients with complex ear disease.
