I waited over an hour which upset me and (probably) caused a rise in my blood pressure. Once I finally got into the office the staff was quite nice and apologetic...although the reason for the delay was not made clear. I found the doctor very kind and attentive...I liked him very much...but I am hoping that my next appointment is kept more in a timely fashion.

***ONLY EXCEPTING PATIENTS 50 YEARS AND OLDER***Imran Shaikh is a primary care doctor serving his patients with thorough diligence in St. Petersburg, FL. Dr. Shaikh is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Florida Medical Association. He is fluent in English, Spanish, Urdu, and Hindi. Many of his appointments are completed in 30 minutes, and his services include ECG/EKG, cholesterol and lipids checkups, asthma consultation, illness consultation, migraine assessments, flu shots, and general follow-ups.
Dr. Shaikh began his medical education at the Mahatma Gandhi Mission’s Medical College in Mumbai. He then attended the Seth GS Medical College affiliated with the King Edward Memorial Hospital to complete his internship. While attending the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Dr. Shaikh participated in a diabetes and metabolism rotation. He completed his internal medicine residency at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine at the St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in August 2013.
