Dr. Ingie El-Khashab is a podiatrist treating patients in Decatur and Greater Georgia. She is dedicated to spending quality time with her patients and educating them about their conditions so that they can make informed decisions about their care. She also holds certification from the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
Having graduated from Texas A&M University, Dr. El-Khashab continued her medical education at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. Here, she completed a four year program to receive her degree in podiatry. At the Atlanta Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center, she completed a three-year surgical residency. She opened her practice in 2008.
Dr. El-Khashab has used her numerous positions in various practices to garner training in comprehensive wound care, diabetic limb preservation, and the prevention of limb loss through Hyperbaric Oxygen treatment. Her other areas of professional expertise include sports medicine and surgery of the foot, ankle and leg. When she is not treating patients, Dr. El-Khashab provides educational lectures to the Decatur community and enjoys fitness, gardening, travel, and spending time with her family.

She has a great persona! Less than 2 minutes in the room and I felt like I had known her forever. She took x-rays of both my feet, diagnosed the problem, removed the bunions, fitted me with extremely comfortable inserts, prescribed a cream for nightly use. Plus, I was on my way back home with cream and inserts in less than an hour after arriving at the office!

She was great! Of course being a new patient it took a little time to fill out all the paperwork. Once I was done I was taken back within 10 min, and seen by the doctor not too long afterwards. She was very friendly, and listened to everything I had to say. She went over all the potential reasons for why I have been experiencing my pain. Excellent bedside manner.
