Dr. Ingrid Winterling is a native Washingtonian. She attended Mt. Saint Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, MD, where she graduated with honors. She achieved her medical degree at Georgetown University Medical Center where she subsequently completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is board certified in both obstetrics and gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is a certified menopause provider with the North American Menopause Society.
Dr. Winterling specializes in the evaluation and treatment of hormonal issues throughout a woman’s lifetime. She has a special interest in helping women manage the hormonal changes of perimenopause and menopause. She is experienced in the evaluation and treatment of adolescent menstrual issues, irregular menstrual cycles, and PCOS.
She also provides routine well woman exams, testing for sexually transmitted infections, contraceptive management, screening for cervical cancer, screening for breast cancer, screening for colon cancer, hereditary cancer screening, and osteoporosis screening and treatment.
Dr. Winterling is a compassionate and well-respected physician who provides excellent care to her patients.
