About Dr. Ingrid Whitbourne-Cooke

Dr. Whitbourne was born and raised on the island of Jamaica. After completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Physics at the University of the West Indies in Kingston, she came to the US and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. While in optometry school, she was honored with membership in the BSK International Optometric Honor Society. She has experience working in various practice settings as well as in clinical studies and medical devices. Dr. Whitbourne practices primary care optometry with special interests in dry eye, ocular surface disease, contact lens fitting, and orthokeratology. She sees patients aged 4 and up. Additionally, she has donated her services by providing free eye exams to school children. When not seeing patients, she enjoys spending time with her family, going for walks, and trying new restaurants. "I enjoy treating each person's unique vision and eye health concerns and personalizing care to meet their needs."
