I asked her for assistance with an issue that she felt better about me seeing a specialized doctor rather than being the one to diagnose me. It was much appreciated that we didn't have to waste each others time and pointed me to the correct doctor. Very happy

Not professional.
The doctor itself is good but they don't know how to work with the Zocdoc every time I go there and make an appointment on zocdoc and I have to wait more than two hours cause they didn't see it or didn't check it they don't know how to work with zocdok!

On my initial visit, she seemed friendly with good bedside manners. However, I noticed on later visits that the time it took to see her increased even with an appt time slot. Her receptionist was the worst. Not only was she dressed unprofessionally, but she would talk about non-Russian patients in Russian. It was blatantly obvious. Besides that, I received a nasty phone call from her once because I had to reschedule my appts twice. Her comments were along the lines of "it's your body- if you want to be sick, then be sick." It was so rude. I told her off on the phone and hung up. On my next visit, I informed the Doctor of her receptionist's behavior (& told her about the reviews she was receiving on another website) to which she apologized. She asked the woman to come in to apologize, but the woman just glared at me like she wanted to kill me. Funny enough, on future visits, I got warm greetings from her. But I never forgot how she looked at me. The Dr claimed that 'this is just how she is- blunt.' But it was NOT OK. After the Physical Therapist I was seeing onsite left to help Olympians for the Winter games, I lost all incentive to come to this office. Because slowly, but surely, even the Dr. showed her true colors. She was no longer as friendly with me.

Doctor Klebanov is one of the better doctors I've seen in Brooklyn as far as office cleanliness, wait time and the other staff however the doctor herself is very short with you and cold. I went in for pain, she recommended PT so when I went back to her with the results from my pain management doctor (I do have some real medical issues) I expected more than "you have no complaints? Go to physical therapy" I want a doctor who works comprehensively with me as a patient experiencing a serious medical problem. Looking for a different PCP, someone who actually cares about me as a human with medical problems. Unacceptable.
Dr. Klebenov was very professional and gave me all the necessary referrals immediately. However her staff was abrupt and borderline rude-which is a shame because I would otherwise definitely recommend the doctor to other patients.

I have to say, after reading the previous reviews and actually going to this doctor, all the reviews prior had to be fake! So here is my experience. First, I would like to start out by saying I speak Russian, and could clearly understand what the staff was saying about me and the other patients. There were 2 front desk clerks that greeted me. one was younger and quite polite but the other one who is clearly the loud mouth of the office, started to yell at me asking me if i had some deductible. I had been through other doctors with my insurance, never have I felt so attacked about how my insurance works. (btw.. its aetna insurance, i mean seriously). So she office loudmouth clearly didn't want to call the insurance company herself to verify information, she made me do it myself. Fine, i did it, and all was well. After that, while waiting for my turn to go in, I am listening how poorly they discriminate the other non-speaking patients. What a surprise there was when I told them i speak Russian. Finally, after an hour later, the nurse brings me in, very nice girl checks my file and right as she said the doctor will see you now. A sales person is pulled into the doctors office and im waiting once again. So after some time, I finally get into the doctors office. The first thing she does is attack me about my insurance. Complaining to me how she wont get her money until a year later, etc.. I clearly stated if it was a problem, i would be happy to go to another doctor. So she examines me which was extremely unpleasant, she lifts up my shirt before asking me to take it off. She was plain rude and cold. Im not going back and I hope she read this and maybe will think twice about how she treats patients. She is no healer, she is someone who likes the business. Very sad.

Doctor Klebanov Was Truly Welcoming, I Didn't Have To Wait At All, I Was Seen Promptly. The Nurse Was Also A Gem I Would Definitely Recommend Her To Others

At first I thought she was kind of rude because she didn't ask any questions as she kept writing in her record book. She looked up only long enough to say; "I'm listening, you can talk". I told her how I felt and she blurted out questions. Her exam was extremely thorough and she suggested I meet with her partnering Doctors because she was concerned about other things that may be contributing to how bad I was feeling. I had my follow up appointment today and she seemed a bit less busy and expressed how important it is that I see the other Doctors so she can help manage my health. She's genuine and the staff is nice there. They do not accept credit cards.

Rude. Unprofessional.

This was my first visit. Receptionist was friendly, wait time was less than five minutes. My only gripe was that it was cash only for the copay and a long walk to the nearest ATM. No big deal....The doctor and her assistant were very nice. She's very no-nonsense and moves quickly but I felt confident that she knew what she was doing. She listened to my issues and gave me a thorough examination, then recommended I see a gastro for further testing. Knowing I had some stomach issues, she sat me down for a 30 minute IV Pepcid drip, assuring that I left more comfortable than I arrived. Going back for a follow up tomorrow.

She is nice person. And good doctor

My visit to Dr. Irina was okay. I was sick and needed to see a doctor immediately and she was the only office open on a Saturday which was a plus. Her bedside manner was okay. Nice, a little quick but it was fine. If you need a quick visit then I would recommend her. I have a PCP that I adore and I'm sticking with.
The doctor is very passionate and attentive. Her office staff is very polite and friendly. She really cares about her patients and will highly recommend Dr. Klebanov to all my friends and family.
