My son saw him for the first time. He forgot to ask Dr. Perez to do a mole check. He mentioned that when leaving, and Dr. Perez took him back in the exam room and did the mole check! No problem. We love that bedside manner!

He is currently certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners, American Board of Internal Medicine, and the American Board of Dermatology. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived there for seven years. His family moved to Puerto Rico where he grew up. He graduated from high school valedictorian with a 4.0 average. He went to the University of Puerto Rico at Arecibo where he completed his pre-med studies with honors. In 1986 he was accepted to medical school at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Science Campus which is accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education. He graduated in 1990 with honors making the Dean’s list and was elected to the renowned honor medical society Alpha Omega Alpha.

First time going to the dermatologist. Wasn't sure if they are supposed to be that quick of a visit. In and out in maybe 15 min. He briefly scanned my body then cut out a mole on my back. Told me results would be ready in a week and peaced out. Is this Normal?
