I have been fortunate to have an active dermatology practice in the Sarasota area for over 30 years. During that time, I have realized what a wonderful community we live in. The people here are warm and genuine and have been kind enough to support me through this time. I am originally from Brooklyn, New York. After training in Cleveland, Ohio my wife and I decided to relocate to the Sarasota area. I have supported local causes through events such as Doctor Idol and donating to Sarasota Memorial Hospital for ovarian cancer research. I like to play tennis and write music in my spare time. I am fortunate enough to have two wonderful daughters and a grandson.
My practice is a general dermatology office which handles all different types of skin disorders. In addition to skin cancer and skin disease treatment, we offer cosmetic treatments such as Botox and filler injections, sclerotherapy for veins, laser treatment for brown spots and red veins, and glycolic acid peels. I regularly attend the annual American Academy of Dermatology meeting to keep up to date on medical and surgical procedures. Most importantly, we do routine skin screenings to identify problems before they become serious.
What makes my practice different from others is the personal touch. I see all patients personally, and do all the procedures myself. The staff is attentive, compassionate, and thorough in ensuring that all patients are seen promptly and receive all the time they need. I never overbook so there is never a need to rush a patient or not address all their concerns. It is important for me to see the patient 1-on-1 and use my years of experience to handle the problem correctly. We welcome new patients to our practice, and are thankful to our seasoned patients for staying with us over the years.

Dr. Zamora is SUCH a great guy! He is so gentle and caring. And, when I have fears or concerns, he has a way of taking away my fears and making me think I'm strong and healthy.
I expected to be in the exam room for "hours," because I thought I had a real problem. Dr. Zamora came in, did the exam, took a look at the "problem," and had it taken care of in about ten minutes. It was amazing!

Probably not typical, but I was able to get a same day appointment which has not been my experience with other Dermatologists. Doctor and staff were professional, courteous, and efficient. No complaints whatsoever.

First, I waited in the office for 30 minutes while other patients were called in before me whilst I was there before them. Second, the Dr had me in and out within 10 minutes just too tell me he couldn't treat my issue and gave me the name too another Dr even though I was told he could treat me from my evaluating Dr the week prior. Lastly, I still was charged for an under a 45 minute visit too be told the same thing I already knew with no treatment. Absolutely awful will not be returning or recommending.

Not sure how effective this service is. Scheduled appt & i had to call to confirm the appt when offc opened just to be sure. Office was not very friendly & said no appt was scheduled for 9:30am on monday because they wouldnt have seen this appt until the morning of even tho i schedyled this thru zocdoc! No apologies, nothing. Squeezed me in for a slightly later appt which was great but found this zocdoc service meaningless & their attitude regarding a service they have chosen to use lacking... I wont use zocdoc again, sorry
