I am a fellowship-trained colorectal surgeon who specializes in all aspects of colon and rectal surgery. During my General Surgical training, I did research fellowships in colorectal cancer at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (under Dr. Philip Paty), and surgical outcomes at New York Presbyterian Columbia University Medical Center. This spurred an interest in managing both benign and malignant colorectal diseases, thus I furthered my training by doing a Colorectal Surgery fellowship at Grant Medical Center/Ohio State University. My training has given me the opportunity to learn minimally invasive techniques for treating colorectal disease as well as methods to effectively manage complex anorectal pathology.
