Very professional and friendly. I was disappointed to find out that they did not accept my insurance for glasses, only for the eye exam. I thought this was resolved before I made the appaointment.

Dr Friederich practices optometry in St Louis, MO at Vision Care Consultants, a four-doctor practice. In addition to providing primary eye care services, he focuses on specialty contact lens fittings and ocular disease. Dr Friederich graduated from Truman State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri St Louis School of Optometry in 2008. He has also served in the US Army. After a year in Iraq, he received the National Defense Service Medal and the Army Commendation Medal for outstanding service.
Dr Friederich is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He has served on the American Optometric Association's Anterior Segment Committee since 2009. Dr Friederich is the Chief Editor of the American Optometric Association Contact Lens and Cornea Section's monthly publication; he has researched and written for the Section since 2007. Dr Friederich participates in the Gateway Disabled Ski Program, assisting visually impaired children and wounded veterans in learning to ski. Dr Friederich and his colleagues at Vision Care Consultants have provided eye care for the St Louis Blues professional hockey team and the St Louis Rams professional football team.
