Dr. J.(DJamal )Kord is an acupuncturist treating patients in the Santa Monica and greater California areas. His most important goal as a practitioner is to have many satisfied patients. He makes sure to take time with each of his patients to determine the style of acupuncture needed to achieve maximum results in combination with individualized herbal prescriptions.
In order to pursue his expertise in acupuncture, Dr. Kord attended Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He has also completed a Ph.D in Oriental Medicine in Master Tung's style of acupuncture. He has pursued further study in Scalp Acupuncture and Korean Hand Therapy.
Supervising at Venice Family Clinic and teaching at Yo San University, DJamal keeps his feet in both worlds; the academic and the clinicial. In private practice, he focuses on pain management, addiction, stroke, and diabetes.
Patients visiting Dr. Kord can receive a full range of treatments. He offers consultations for acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, moxibustion, acupressure, Chinese medicinal massage, and different styles of acupuncture.

Of the more than four "famous" acupuncturists I've seen in the Los Angeles area, Dr. Kord is by far the most results-oriented & caring practitioner. I have seen significant results & am astonished by the level of time & personal care he provides!
