Last year I saw the younger doctor (male) who didn't take hardly any time to examine me (routine body scan). I noticed he is no longer there. I thought Doc P was very professional, spent time to look at everything, and gave me the assurance that he knew what he was doing.

Dr. J. Kevin Pidkowicz is joining Trinity Dermatology, the Carrollton office of U.S. Dermatology Partners.
Dr. Pidkowicz earned a bachelor’s degree in zoology from the University of Tennessee and a master’s degree in public health from the University of Oklahoma. He earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery.
Dr. Pidkowicz served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years. He completed an internship at Oakland Naval Hospital in Oakland, Calif., a family practice residency at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton in Camp Pendleton, Calif., and a dermatology residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego.
While in the Navy, Dr. Pidkowicz cared for patients across the United States and in Europe. He received the Defense Meritorious Service Medal while working with the National Security Agency and was awarded three Navy Commendation Medals.
“The specialty of dermatology offers a broad range of practice interests which I really enjoy--surgery, pathology, medical, pediatrics, cosmetics,” Dr. Pidkowicz says. “What I find most rewarding about my job is improving my patients’ quality of life, helping them feel and look better.”
He takes great interest in skin cancer detection and treatment, acne, psoriasis, eczema, contact dermatitis, fungal infections, photodynamic therapy, and pediatric dermatology.

I didn't even finish filling out new hire paperwork before I was called back into the office! Dr. Pidkowicz diagnosed me very quickly and set me on an aggressive course of treatment for my acne and rosacea, and I'm excited to see results!

Very friendly staff and physician. My appointment was right on time. I was explained the results of my skin exam. Growth removal in my face was explained first and then performed, along with instructions for its healing treatment. I did not feel any pain or discomfort during the short procedure.
