Dr. English is very personable, has a wonderful sense of humor, and he makes you feel comfortable. I was given a thorough explanation of my procedure and had any questions I may have had answered completely. I didn't feel rushed, like I usually do when asking other doctors questions, and it made me feel like I was important as a patient.

J. Martin English, MD, is highly trained in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. English has built a successful practice on the belief that applying superior technical expertise while providing the best patient care offers the highest quality patient experience.
A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Dr. English graduated from the University of Miami School of Medicine in 1981 in the top five percent of his class. Dr. English's academic accomplishments were recognized by his election to the medical national honor society - Alpha Omega Alpha. After medical school, Dr. English completed seven years of residency training in General and Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center/Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas.
Dr. English entered private practice in 1988. For many years he remained active in academic Plastic Surgery as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Everything about my appointment was positive. I was greeted by a friendly staff and the wait time was minimal. Dr. English answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable. I know I will be in good hands with Dr. English for my upcoming surgery.
