Dr. Jack Perrone is an experienced OBGYN and compassionate doctor at CMP New York. He is an expert in pelvic pain, fibroids, abnormal pap smears, STDs, and contraception. He has a focus on fibroid surgery, hysterectomy, vaginal surgery, and hysteroscopy.
He obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mayo Clinic. He manages a full spectrum of OBGYN issues with a special focus on minimally invasive surgery, vaginal surgery, fibroids, menopause, hormonal imbalance, abnormal bleeding, and pain.
He previously served as Vice Chairman of the OBGYN Department and is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is dedicated to providing expert and compassionate care to women, ensuring their reproductive health and well-being. He is proud to bring his vast experience to the CMP team!

The doctor is very informative and clearly knowledgeable; however, my experiences with him made me feel consistently uncomfortable. He is not a good listener and is extremely dismissive. During a well visit, I felt especially uneasy during my breast exam when he pulled my nipple something I have never experienced with any other physician. His manner left me feeling unheard and distressed, and on one visit I even left the office in tears. Because of these experiences, I decided to go somewhere else . While he has medical knowledge, his dismissive attitude and lack of sensitivity significantly impacted my trust and comfort as a patient.

I would go back. Office was easy to find and commuter friendly. The staff was friendly and attentive, from the time i walked into the office. My wait for the doctor wasn't long. And the visit with him was pleasant. He was a good listener and I had assuring feed back from my concerns. I'm hopeful in my wellness journey under the care of Doctor and staff.

Dr. Perrone was the consumate professional and understood immediately what I needed. His medical staff was also extremely helpful and professional. My only issue was the music was a bit too loud and distracting in the waiting area. Other than that, this was a very positive experience and I'd recommend him highly!

I’m really disappointed with my recent visit. I had booked the appointment specifically to see the main doctor, but ended up being seen by a nurse practitioner instead, without any prior notice. She had no idea of my case was in rush and didnt go well. I also called and left messages regarding an urgent medication update and a request for a doctor’s note, but never received a response.
The ultrasound experience was especially upsetting, the technician did not speak to me at all or explain anything during the scan. The pictures provided were unclear, and I was told a video would be sent later, but that never happened. Didnot get proper reports.
Overall, I left feeling unheard and uncared for. The communication and professionalism were seriously lacking.
I understand it can get busy, I’m sharing this in the hope that the clinic takes these concerns seriously. Patients deserve clear communication, follow up, and compassionate care especially during such sensitive moments.

Absolutely horrible. I was seen here last year and it was fine. However, when I got my reminder to schedule my yearly appointment it was still listed as from the doctor I saw last year and I specifically requested to see again. I tried many times to get in contact with the front desk to ensure it was her I would be seeing. Only after I arrived and was I told she had left the practice months ago. I was seen 30 mins late. The room I was in had an over flowing, uncovered trash can full of gowns, wipes and medical waste - how is that considered acceptable? Completely unsanitary and disgusting to be sat next to. The worst part and the reason I decided to leave this review is because the new doctor I had seen had input information into the patient portal that was incorrect and certainly not related to me or my appointment. Currently wondering who has my information and if I’ll ever get any results back, but like I mentioned before, it is completely impossible to reach the front desk.

The front desk secretary displayed a very unpleasant attitude. While she appears to be fairly young and may not have received adequate training, her demeanor was inappropriate and uncalled for. She did offer to reschedule my appointment, but I would prefer to seek care at a facility where the staff demonstrate kindness and professionalism.
