Dr. LaSalle is a Double-Board Certified Anesthesiologist and Pain Medicine physician. He focuses on providing the latest minimally invasive interventional treatments for a variety of musculoskeletal and chronic pain conditions including the following: back pain, neck pain, joint pain, muscle pain, tendinopathies, headaches and facial pain, neuropathies, and sympathetically mediated pain syndromes. He believes in a collaborative patient-physician relationship and often recommends a multi-modal treatment strategy, with a joint emphasis on physical therapy and functional recovery, interventional treatments and, when appropriate, medication management.
Dr. LaSalle completed his undergraduate degree at Columbia University before attending the prestigious University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) for Medical School. He then returned to New York City for his post-graduate training and completed both a residency in Anesthesia and a fellowship in Pain Management at New York University. He was awarded Fellow of the Year during his final year of medical training.

I was very specific about seeing the doctor only when I called to book the appointment. I had seen 6 PAs before going here, and I needed a doctor. Plus, I specifically researched him, and I wanted to see him. My pain had been out of control for nine months, and I needed a Doctor. His PA just rubbed me the wrong way. Finally saw the doctor after refusing to see the PA; she did Not like that. The doctor was nice. He seemed to want to help. He ordered an MRI. I called for a follow-up via phone because I couldn't move from my back pain. They said the doctor would call me to explain the MRI, but the PA called, and I rejected the call. I feel it was a bait and switch. I understand PAs assist doctors, but my experience with them is not good. The last 4 PAs told me I needed a procedure called RFA. I saw a real back doctor who sent me to a spine center. It was that serious when PAs told me I needed a procedure that was 100 percent useless. I'm not accusing this doctor of anything medically wrong. I chose him. I'm saying that if I request a doctor and a medical practice doesn't allow me to see the doctor for whatever reason,This should be told to people before they are booked for the appointment. This is called bait and switch. I got a follow-up call from a female in his office who spoke to me like I was a three-year-old. (I wonder who that was.)

I had seen Dr. LaSalle 3 years ago for the exact same problem, a pinched nerve in my neck. When I told Dr. LaSalle that the problem had returned he offered the same treatment which was a steriod injection that same day. This was exactly what I was hoping for so as to not have to schedule an injection for another day. Everything was taken of that day and a day later I'm already experiencing some relief. Very smooth and efficient experience.

I'm fortunate to have found Dr. LaSalle, by far the most responsive caregiver I've ever had. He's extremely compassionate, knowledgeable and attentive with an awesome bedside manner.
He was able to quickly diagnose and treat me accordingly. As a patient, I know I will be treated respectfully by him and his entire staff. I consider them to be valuable assets to my wellness.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my abject satisfaction with Jacob Lasalle, MD and Mr. Alex. They both were professional, efficient, and extremely knowledgeable. I can't rate them higher than 5 stars, however, if a higher rating was available to me they would have honestly earned it!
My last visit was on 1/28/20 and I was treated by this competent duo during that visit.

This office is extremely beautiful. I called, wishing to have same day appointment. I tried other provider but no one was able to fit me in on the same day. But Hudson Medical took me right in. Wait time is short. They have later night hours too, which is great for me, I can see them after work at 7:00 pm. Doctors are very professional. The staffs is very nice as well. Wonderful office!

Dr. Lasalle is excellent! He really took the time to listen to all of my concerns and health issues. And I left a message for him to return my call regarding some concerns I had and also about medication. He called me back by the end of the day. Pleasantly surprised! Wish wait time was better though.
