What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider?
I lost my dad too young at the age of 43 in 2006. I always knew I wanted to become a nurse and eventually an NP in an attempt to help others suffering. It was a long road. I am blessed and beyond thankful to a part of healthcare. I want to help manifest positive changes in the patient-provider relationship and be change to the healthcare scene. I strive to always help every patient never feel they are slipping between the cracks.
In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
To oversee a persons total, full, mind body health from a holistic foundation.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time?
Hot yoga, run, read, travel, hiking, explore the mountains.
