I am a psychiatrist and therapist who is committed to collaborative and compassionate care for individuals dealing with a range of life difficulties. My goal is to help patients understand themselves better, live more fulfilling lives, and cope with difficulties in more constructive ways. I work with individuals between the ages of 17 - 64 years old with a range of problems, including depression, anxiety, panic attacks, eating disorders, insomnia, and dissatisfaction in relationships and work. I develop personalized treatments that integrate psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, and supportive psychotherapies with medications, when needed.
I have found it very rewarding to work with young adults who are experiencing a first episode of depression, anxiety, or eating disorder. I have often worked with undergraduate and graduate students who are grappling with the impact of mental health issues on their lives.
After graduating from NYU School of Medicine, I completed my psychiatric training at Columbia University Medical Center, where I also served as Chief Resident. After residency, I worked as an Attending Physician at New York Presbyterian Hospital - Columbia University Medical Center where I enjoyed teaching residents and medical students.

I am an out of network provider with insurance companies. My clients pay for their treatment at the time of each visit. Many clients obtain reimbursement for a substantial portion of my fees through their insurance plan’s out of network benefits.
