Dr. Jamaan Kenner, a graduate of Xavier University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He went on to obtain his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans in 2020.
Dr. Kenner has a special interest in the areas of high-risk obstetrics, infertility, contraception, and minimally invasive gynecological surgery. I made an appt for bloodwork for the gender of my baby. I had to ask for water after I told the receptionist I needed a min to leave a sample. Water was good and cold. After vitals were taken the Dr came in shortly after. I had no questions. He wanted to do an ultrasound to confirm pregnancy which is odd when they do urine sample. (Charge insurance) She asked again while the Dr was in the room if I did it yet again I told her not yet. I heard them speaking about my insurance/paid copay. I told them I only came for bloodwork/gender and that was stated when I made the appt so I wasn’t sure where the miscommunication occurred. She grabbed the gender box and disregarded the U/S. I forgot about the urine sample once she finished the lab draw and verifying my info she let me checkout. The office called me asking I if had left. I was heading out the parking garage already asking if I could come back to do more labs. I’m like no that shouldve been done initially. They called 2x more. Smh.
