Jamala is a mother, food lover, and Registered Dietitian. She developed a love for nutrition at the early age of 7 while volunteering at her family’s soup kitchen. Jamala graduated with her undergraduate degree in Nutritional Science at Texas Woman’s University and her Masters through UT Southwestern Medical Center’s Coordinated Clinical Nutrition program. She is passionate about working with patients with eating disorders and those with a history of chronic dieting. Jamala believes in a fun, non-judgmental, Health at Every Size (HAES) approach. Jamala cannot wait to walk alongside you as you develop a flourishing relationship with food and your body.
