With over 36 years of surgical experience Dr. James L Barron has always been an innovator, now offering "in office" noninvasive sinus treatment and surgery, snoring/ sleep solutions, and state of the art hearing technology, in addition to all the conventional ENT treatments in office, hospitals or surgical centers.
Dr. James Barron graduated AOA from the University of Colorado School of Medicine, completed his residency there and is currently on the Board of Admissions. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Barron is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and licensed by the State of Colorado Board of Medicine. The Western Otolaryngology Center for Better hearing is staffed by Dr. Barron and Lyuba Nemanov who is an experienced doctorate level Audiologist. The doctor was very brusque and made me feel that I was imposing on his time (although I had scheduled a normal appointment). He suggested a CT scan, but then no one told me about how I should prepare for the scan (i.e. don't eat beforehand, don't have metal on your body). If I had not researched what to do for a CT scan in advance, I would have wasted both my own and the technicians time.

Everyone in the office was very friendly. Dr. Barron seemed very knowledgable about the types of issues I am having. He was a bit short and to the point about the best treatment options, but I prefer succinctness and honesty.

Dr. Barron was described to me as the ENT surgeon for physicians' families. For our extended family, he has done tonsils, tubes, fixed broken nose, done thyroid cancer surgery and his audiologist fitted my mom for hearing aids. We recommend him highly.
