Dr. James Siefer comes to us from Detroit, Michigan. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Wayne State University and went on to receive his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Midwest University Chicago College of Osteopathic medicine. He then pursued a residency in General Surgery followed by a residency in Urology becoming board-certified in both specialties. He is a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons. He served as chairman of the Department of Urology at Botsford General Hospital as well as the chairman of the urologic discipline of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons. He has a special interest in prostate cancer especially brachytherapy.
