I think Dr. Weiss is a superior orthopedist as he doesn’t focus his practice on a specific speciality. He is clearly knowledge, sites the most clinically significant studies in discussing treatment philosophies and options, and answers all questions.

Great doctor! Took a lot of time to meet with me and to review my records from a prior medical visit at the hospital. Dr. Weiss listened to me and seems to have correctly diagnosed my medical issues! Highly recommend Dr. Weiss. The staff is also very nice!

Dr Weiss is a Godsend. He not only answered my questions but answered questions I did not think to ask. We have rapport.

He prescribed all meds that were NOT COVERED and as a result I was unable to get my pain meds and I was in excruciating pain. I have to wait 2 additional days now!!

Two things happened during our visit:
1. After the lady took the X-Ray for my son, something went wrong, she lost the picture. So my son has to be exposed to the radiation one more time.
2. When my son went to remove his cast, the lady accidently cut through the cast and touched his skin with the spinning cutting wheel. He didn't bleed, but was left a white mark on his arm. My son was so scared and he screamed when he felt the spinning wheel. He mentioned this accident to the doctor later on, the doctor checked his arm, saw that mark and said, " she didn't cut off any of your fingers, right? " I really don't know how to respond.
I believe no one wanted this to happen and they are doing their best. However when this really happened to your child, you don't feel he is in the good hands. it's hard to recommend this practice to your friends.
Thank you!

He seemed competent and nice, but the one thing you can’t do is wait a week to get someone their results back for an X-ray for a complicated break that requires surgery. Needless to say, I went elsewhere for surgery. Maybe I just got extremely unlucky....

Dr. James Weiss was very thorough in examine my son's foot/toe, and the office staff was excellent. Very friendly. I would highly recommend this doctor and this office.
The wait was a little long, but honestly nothing that is unusual for a doctor's office and I was just grateful that they could see my son on such short notice.

Dr. Weiss was very nice, seemed knowledgeable, nice office environment. There was so much waiting time though. 30 minutes to get into a room, wait to be seen, long wait time to get X-rays done, then wait for X-rays to be evaluated, etc. our appt was 2 hours long.

Dr. Weiss is very thorough. He makes sure to listen to all of your complaints, and then asks more questions and examines the areas you have problem with. He also has an Xray machine in the office, so, if he thinks you need an xray, he will get it done there and discuss the results with you during the same visit. He answers all questions and explains anything that you need to further understand. I would definitely reccommend him for friends and family members.

Visit was good- kind, thorough doctor. Check in... I wish I hadnt taken the time to check in via ZD because I was told those forms aren't relevant and had to fill out all new ones.

i WAS ABLE TO GET AN APPT THE DAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING AND HE SET ME UP FOR AN MRI ON BLACK FRIDAY AND EVERYONE IN THE OFFICE WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT. HE TOLD ME WHAT HE THOUGHT WAS WRONG AND WHAT I NEEDED TO DO AND THE MRI CONFIRMED HIS DIAGNOSIS. I AM SO HAPPY THAT I WENT TO HIM EVEN THOUGH HE IS FAR AWAY FROM MY HOUSE.

I thought he was very thoughtful, thorough and with terrific attention and manner to my 12-year-old daughter who could easily talk to him (and thought he was nice). Our visit ended with direct and clear next steps and follow-up plan.

Dr. Weiss was not only knowledgeable, but kind and engaging. Because he is not afraid to look at all aspects of what is going on in the nervous/musculoskeletal system, I was actually able to uncover another diagnosis. One that I did not have time to miss. Great doctor, very thorough and excellent bedside manner.

I had been seen in the ER at Suburban by the orthopedist, who completely botched the diagnosis of my broken vertebra and the treatment -- sent me home with a neck collar that was way too big. I could not get a follow-up appointment with that orthopedist within a reasonable period of time, which turned out to be a good thing, because that led me to find Dr. Weiss, who ordered the right tests and referred me to an orthotics company that will fit me correctly for a neck brace. Now I have confidence in the treatment I am getting. The office seems well-run, too.
