Patient reviews for Dr. James Weiss
I think Dr. Weiss is a superior orthopedist as he doesn’t focus his practice on a specific speciality. He is clearly knowledge, sites the most clinically significant studies in discussing treatment philosophies and options, and answers all questions.
Dr Weiss is very thorough, knowledgeable and professional. I have had a back problem diagnosed now which could have been very harmful in later years thanks to him.
He seemed competent and nice, but the one thing you can’t do is wait a week to get someone their results back for an X-ray for a complicated break that requires surgery. Needless to say, I went elsewhere for surgery. Maybe I just got extremely unlucky....
Great doctor! Took a lot of time to meet with me and to review my records from a prior medical visit at the hospital. Dr. Weiss listened to me and seems to have correctly diagnosed my medical issues! Highly recommend Dr. Weiss. The staff is also very nice!
He is just a great and professional doctor!!got my chronic pain down just with one small procedure which no other doctor could properly diagnose
Dr. James Weiss was very thorough in examine my son's foot/toe, and the office staff was excellent. Very friendly. I would highly recommend this doctor and this office. The wait was a little long, but honestly nothing that is unusual for a doctor's office and I was just grateful that they could see my son on such short notice.
Dr. Weiss was very nice, seemed knowledgeable, nice office environment. There was so much waiting time though. 30 minutes to get into a room, wait to be seen, long wait time to get X-rays done, then wait for X-rays to be evaluated, etc. our appt was 2 hours long.
Very attentive and overall great experience.
Dr. Weiss is very thorough. He makes sure to listen to all of your complaints, and then asks more questions and examines the areas you have problem with. He also has an Xray machine in the office, so, if he thinks you need an xray, he will get it done there and discuss the results with you during the same visit. He answers all questions and explains anything that you need to further understand. I would definitely reccommend him for friends and family members.
Visit was good- kind, thorough doctor. Check in... I wish I hadnt taken the time to check in via ZD because I was told those forms aren't relevant and had to fill out all new ones.
Highly professional staff and welcoming atmosphere.
i WAS ABLE TO GET AN APPT THE DAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING AND HE SET ME UP FOR AN MRI ON BLACK FRIDAY AND EVERYONE IN THE OFFICE WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT. HE TOLD ME WHAT HE THOUGHT WAS WRONG AND WHAT I NEEDED TO DO AND THE MRI CONFIRMED HIS DIAGNOSIS. I AM SO HAPPY THAT I WENT TO HIM EVEN THOUGH HE IS FAR AWAY FROM MY HOUSE.
Dr. Weiss was nice and compassionate.
Professional, knowledgeable and friendly.
It went well. He sympathized with my pain and gave me some meds that I hope will help.
Very helpful, nice doctor. Worth a visit, hard to find doctors who are so thorough.
He was professional and thorough. He listened intently to every concern of mine and referred me to other specialists accordingly. He's a great doctor.
Dr. James Weiss is a fantastic doctor!
Dr. Weiss is always a good listener and a reasonable person.
An excellent physician! I'd recommend him to anyone.
No sure yet, initial visit.
I thought he was very thoughtful, thorough and with terrific attention and manner to my 12-year-old daughter who could easily talk to him (and thought he was nice). Our visit ended with direct and clear next steps and follow-up plan.
Great job Once i got in...
He's very knowledgeable and practical.
Excellent as usual
Dr. Weiss was not only knowledgeable, but kind and engaging. Because he is not afraid to look at all aspects of what is going on in the nervous/musculoskeletal system, I was actually able to uncover another diagnosis. One that I did not have time to miss. Great doctor, very thorough and excellent bedside manner.
They had me reschedule my appt from 3:45 to 2:45. I waited beyond 3:45 to see the doctor. I also mentioned in my zocdoc note that I need an X-ray... Turns out they don't have one on site. Now I have to take another day off to get an X-ray and then a 3rd day to return. Not a pleasant experience.
They had me in 20 minutes before my appointment. Had a thorough exam including a detailed talk about my back problems. Great doc, great visit!
I visited many doctors and nothing was resolved until I went here! Will continue to go!!!
No apparent electronic health record at the clinic.
I had been seen in the ER at Suburban by the orthopedist, who completely botched the diagnosis of my broken vertebra and the treatment -- sent me home with a neck collar that was way too big. I could not get a follow-up appointment with that orthopedist within a reasonable period of time, which turned out to be a good thing, because that led me to find Dr. Weiss, who ordered the right tests and referred me to an orthotics company that will fit me correctly for a neck brace. Now I have confidence in the treatment I am getting. The office seems well-run, too.
Dr Weiss is a Godsend. He not only answered my questions but answered questions I did not think to ask. We have rapport.
Dr. Weiss was thorough, thoughtful, instructive. I have recommended him in the past, and I will again.
Took time to listen to us, seemed very smart.
He does a very careful exam, listens to you, and gives you options. Couldn't ask for better!
Took care of my problem right away. Would recommend to anyone in need.
I left with a clear understanding of my problem and my treatment options.
Very knowledgeable, helpful, and has a nice manner with patients.
I was very impressed with Dr. Weiss and his staff. He provided good feedback for the current problem I have as well as a plan of action for a future appointment to deal with an additional problem I have. Overall, it was a very positive experience.
