Dr. Newland was incredibly sweet and really took her time in the appointment - I didn't feel rushed as I sometimes do when visiting a doctor's office. The space was very clean and I was seen almost immediately after check in!

I saw her once for a physical, and it was about an hour wait before being roomed, then another 30 min before I saw her. Then when I went back for a follow up, I’ve had to reschedule twice, after waiting for two hours each time. I wouldn’t recommend this NP to anyone.

After my first visit with Dr. Newland, I totally understand why she has received such laudatory reviews. She was knowledgable, down-to-earth, and I would definitely go back to her and recommend her to others.

The actual visit took longer than I expected (or maybe I should've expected that for an annual!), but everything else was fantastic. I was called in almost immediately + the student working alongside Jamesetta (Eve) was incredibly personable, enthusiastic, and genuine. I felt comfortable from start --> finish. I could tell Eve is learning new things, but I didn't feel worried at all about her interactions with me. Jamesetta was so calming and easygoing, and I appreciated that she briefly double-checked what was previously done by Eve. The whole visit was thorough and smoothly done. They worked together very well. Not worried about another visit to the doc with Jamesetta as my PCP :) THANK YOU!

Watched a girl walk into the office and ask the staff why her appointment was cancelled for the 4th time. She had been trying to see the PA for 2+ months but every appointment she made had been cancelled. She was suppose to go in 20 minutes after me but was called the day before - told the PA had a family emergency. Turns out this is 4th time her appt needed to be cancelled and she reviewed them ALL. :( They ranged from a snowy commute and flu to this current “family emergency”)
I don’t know what was going on with this chick or why she was told the pa had a family emergency even though her appt was suppose to be only 20 minute after mine. She seemed normal and was pretty good at staying calm as she went through every claim and question...she kept saying they wouldn’t see her because she was on Medicare/Medicaid? Idk.... It was too rough to watch. I am not sure how it works or why PP said they couldn’t do the test she needed. It was awful to watch and so obvious this girl was just scared and trying to get help. Ugh—

I went for a general physical exam, but was so impressed by Dr. Newland's care and attention that I decided to make her my PCP. The office staff are helpful and friendly and I always feel listened to! Dr. Newland is also very responsive through the NYU MyChart system. Highly recommend!

This was a terrific visit from check-in all the way through to check-out! Each of the professionals with whom I interacted was kind, friendly, and professional. Most of my exam was conducted by Dr. Newland's associate, another NP named Judith, who was thorough and had great bedside manner. Dr. Newland was friendly and professional as well when she came in to finish the appointment! I would recommend this provider to anyone. The wait time was a little long, but I am a new patient and probably didn't get there with enough advance time.

An incredible woman who went above and beyond for me. I despise going to the dr because medical professionals can often be condescending. She was so kind and patient with me. I was going in for a one time check in and decided to change her to my PCP. Amazing facility and an amazing team.
