I am a Harvard, Yale, and Cornell educated psychiatrist who treats adults ages 18 and over. I treat a wide spectrum of psychiatric problems, including depression, anxiety, OCD, bereavement, women's reproductive psychiatry, sexual difficulties, separation anxiety disorder, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. I also help people dealing with difficult life circumstances such as loss and grief, relationship troubles, parenting, divorce, troubles with work or school, chronic illness, or other life transitions.
My approach to treatment is flexible and highly individualized. Depending on your goals and unique set of circumstances, I will work with you to find the right combination of medication, insight oriented psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, or supportive therapy to help you achieve the best quality of life possible.
Patients have described me as someone who they can "connect" with, and someone who "sees the big picture." I will do my best to make you feel at home in my office, to provide treatment without judgment, and to help you live your most meaningful life.
